Chapter 27

Jimin sighed happily as he entered the lobby of MIN-KIM labels. After two weeks, he's back to work! Oh, how he missed dancing and his friends. But first things first. The dancer deposited his bags on his locker and immediately went to CEO Kim's office.

"Mr. Kim? Mr. Park is here to see you.", Namjoon's secretary informed him.

"Send him in, Lisa. Thank you.", Namjoon responded as he saved his work on his laptop. The CEO nodded at the dancer who quietly entered his office.

"Hello, Jimin. I see that you're back. What can I do for you?", the older asked as he gestured for Jimin to sit on the chair in front of his desk.

However, instead of sitting, Jimin gave his boss a deep bow.

"I came here to apologize for my recent behavior. I am truly sorry and deeply regret my actions. I assure you that it will not happen again. I promise to do better, Mr. Kim."

Namjoon gave Jimin a tight smile.

"Sit down, Jimin."

Jimin obeyed.

"Thank you for your apology. I was really disappointed in the way you acted, Jimin. Especially after our talk. I hope you don't think that just because you're in a relationship with Mr. Min it means you can get away with a lot of things. On the contrary, it's precisely because of that why I hold you to a higher standard. I expected that you would never do anything that would hurt Mr. Min's and this company's reputation. I expect so much more from you, Jimin.", Namjoon scolded the dancer.

The dancer's cheeks reddened as he was reprimanded. He has a lot of respect for Namjoon and admires him so much that hearing the disapproving tone in his boss and friend's voice makes Jimin want to bury himself due to embarrassment.

"Anyway, make sure you attend your meetings with the counselor diligently. I will take your word that this kind of incident will never happen again. Next time the company won't be so lenient. Am I clear?", the CEO asked him sternly. The HR required Jimin to meet with the company's counselor to address and help him with his issues that brought about his behavior towards Adora.

"Yes, sir. I already scheduled our first session later this week.", Jimin answered quietly, looking down at his lap, unable to look directly at Namjoon.

"Good. Anything else?"

Jimin shook his head.

"That's all, sir. Thank you for your time.", Jimin said as he stood up and bowed once again before attempting to leave. However, Namjoon stopped him.

"Jimin, wait. Come here.", Namjoon stood up from his desk and walked towards Jimin with open arms. Jimin breathed a sigh of relief as he allowed himself to be engulfed in the older's warm embrace.

"Next time you have a problem, and for some reason you can't come to Yoongi hyung, you come to me. I don't mind listening to your concerns. If the first time wasn't enough, then you go back to me so that we can talk about it more. I'll do my best to help you sort it out. Okay?", Namjoon told him soothingly.

"Thank you so much, hyung! I really appreciate it. Don't worry. I already learned my lesson. I'll behave!", Jimin promised as Namjoon released him who laughed at his declaration.

"Oh, by the way. Thank you for the gifts. Hobi and I loved them. We already finished the snacks. Now he wants us to go to Japan just to buy more.", Namjoon rolled his eyes.

Jimin giggled. Yoongi scolded him for buying so much snacks to bring home considering there are Japanese products that can be bought in Korea. But seeing how happy his friends were when he gave it to them makes it worth it for Jimin.
