Chapter 40

Yoongi lie awake in their bed staring up at the ceiling. He and Jimin took a shared bath and has changed into their pajamas after being intimate, the younger immediately falling into slumber due to exhaustion. Jimin is curled up on Yoongi's side, head on the older's chest, one leg draped over the older's and one hand clutching tightly on the older's shirt. The younger could be heard sniffling once in a while, brows slightly furrowed even in sleep.

After his punishment, Jimin asked Yoongi to make love to him. This is the first time that they did something like this. After care usually consists of a warm bath, a soothing cream on Jimin's stinging bottom, and lots of cuddling. Punishment never leads to anything sexual, until tonight.

Yoongi can see it in his boyfriend's eyes why he wanted to have sex after his spanking. Jimin did something major, something that could have broken their bond and he needed reassurance that despite his shortcomings, he is still loved and wanted. He needed to feel it and mere words would not satisfy and pacify him. He needed to feel close to Yoongi, the kind of closeness that could only be felt through intimacy.

And thus, Yoongi indulged him. The CEO tried to be gentle to prevent hurting Jimin more. And so they had the most passionate yet the most tender and softest sex they ever had. Yoongi made sure to focus on pleasuring Jimin to make his boyfriend feel how much he cares for him. And despite the tears that kept flowing from Jimin's eyes, Yoongi knows that he felt it, that the message was loud and clear: He is loved and Yoongi is not going anywhere.

Jimin stirred a little and hissed when his bottom hit the sheets. He tried to adjust his position to be more comfortable. He looked up at Yoongi to make sure he didn't wake him up. To his surprise, the older is still awake, looking fondly at him while stroking his hair.

"Yoonie? Why aren't you sleeping? Are you okay?", Jimin asked groggily.

Yoongi shifted to hold Jimin closer and kiss his head.

"I'm fine, love. Just thinking. How are you? Do you feel better? Does it still hurt? What do you need? An iced pack? Pain reliever?", the older asked gently. Despite the pain on his bottom, Jimin giggled.

"I'm okay, Yoonie. I'll take an analgesic tomorrow if the pain's still too much to bear.", Jimin assured his boyfriend.

"Okay. Just tell me if you need anything."

"I will, Yoonie. Thank you."

The couple stayed silent for awhile, the sound of their breathing filling up the room. After some time, Jimin spoke.

"I'm really sorry, Yoonie. Please don't be mad at me anymore.", the younger said as tears began to fill his eyes again.

"Hey, no more apologies, baby. I forgive you. I'm no longer mad. Remember after a punishment we move on? Everything returns to a clean slate. So don't worry about it, okay?", Yoongi assured Jimin. He sighed.

"Although, I am curious... do you still have things that you're keeping from me? Do you have anything left to confess?"

Jimin blinked up at his boyfriend, slightly confused at the sudden question.

"What do you mean, Yoonie?"

"Exactly what I asked, love. Come on, it's your chance, baby. I promise I won't be mad. You've been punished already. No more punishments for the things that you're going to say now.", Yoongi added, partly kidding to lighten the mood but seriously curious if there's anything more that Jimin needs to come clean with.

"Well... promise you won't be mad?", Jimin asked as he refused to look at Yoongi while drawing circles on the older's chest.

"I promise, baby.", Yoongi answered sincerely, lifting Jimin's chin up to look at him properly.

Jimin thought about Yoongi's offer. Finally, he shyly spoke, cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

"Remember when you wouldn't allow me to go on a vacation with Tae even if it was already weeks after my surgery? Well, I was really pissed at you. So one night while you were sleeping, I couldn't help myself and punched you in the arm. You jolted awake and I convinced you that it was just a dream. You were so out of it that you just believed what I said and immediately went back to sleep. The next morning you were complaining about a sore arm and just dismissed it as a result of sleeping on your side."

Yoongi was dumbfounded for a moment. Once he recovered, he laughed heartily.

"Oh, my gosh! Jimin, that was so petty!"

"I know, I'm so sorry Yoonie. It was just one time, I swear. I never did it again.", Jimin swore as he couldn't also help but laugh along with his boyfriend.

"But seriously, baby. Don't do that again, hm? What if I suddenly woke up and hit you back on instinct? I could have hurt you.", Yoongi said soothingly as he rubbed circles on Jimin's back.

"I realized that, Yoonie. I won't ever hit you again while you're asleep."

"But you would when I'm awake?", Yoongi teased.

"I'll do my best not to hit you when you're awake. Even if you're being a jerk.", Jimin swore with a naughty smile. Yoongi protested.

"Hey, I'm not a jerk!"

Jimin rolled his eyes.

"Fine. Most of the time I'm not a jerk. I try not to be.", Yoongi conceded and Jimin giggled.

"I'm just kidding, Yoonie. You can be strict with the rules but you're not overbearing. You're pretty reasonable. I'm really lucky to have you.", Jimin said sincerely making Yoongi blush.

"Thank you, baby. I'm lucky to have you too...

"Is that all you want to confess?"

"Uh-huh... How about you, Yoonie? Do you have anything to confess to me?", the younger asked his boyfriend as he looked up at him with wide, curious eyes. Despite the teasing, in reality, Yoongi's really good to him. He couldn't imagine Yoongi doing something that would upset him then purposely hide it from him.

Yoongi considered Jimin's words. Has he done something that could have hurt Jimin and their relationship in any way? He couldn't think of any at the moment so he shook his head.

"I don't think so, baby. But I promise that if I did something wrong that may hurt you, I'll come clean immediately, okay?"

The answer satisfied the dancer.

"Okay, Yoonie.", Jimin said as he started to yawn. "Me too. I won't keep anything from you anymore. No more lying and going behind your back."

"That's good, baby. Why don't we sleep now? We can continue this tomorrow if there's something else that we want to talk about more."

Jimin hummed in agreement and hugged Yoongi tighter. It didn't take long before he fell back to sleep. Yoongi, upon hearing Jimin's soft snores, finally closed his eyes and soon too drifted off to sleep.
