Chapter 35

"Ugh, I don't think I can eat any more.", Jimin proclaimed as he flopped down on Yoongi's bed after completing his night time routine. It has been a food filled weekend for the couple so far and the dancer doesn't think he has eaten more than he ever did in his life. He never once felt hungry ever since they arrived.

"Hey, Yoonie! Are you listening to me? I asked what we're going to do tomorrow?", Jimin nudged his boyfriend. Yoongi smiled sheepishly as he adjusted himself on the bed to look at the younger.

"Sorry, love. I was just daydreaming. But uhm... I think we can just have a lazy day tomorrow. We can sleep in then have lunch again at the restaurant before we go to the train station.", Yoongi answered with a hint of sadness in his voice. Why didn't he think of going home much earlier? Three days is not enough to bond with his family and friends.

Yesterday, after having lunch at the Min's family restaurant, the couple proceeded to relax at Yoongi's childhood home. Upon arriving at their doorsteps, Yoongi couldn't help but feel nostalgic. Sure, he visits their home a couple of times a year but seeing the place where he grew up just makes him emotional each time. Despite having more financial security now, Yoongi's parents still opted to stay at their original home. They just renovated to make it more spacious and kept it in tip top shape. The young CEO's heart swells with love and pride whenever he sees the first ever best producer award he has received sit atop the shelf in the living room. Each and every wall inside their home is filled with pictures, awards and certificates that the siblings has acquired. Their parents has always said that even though they weren't able to provide shiny things to their children when they were growing up, at least they were able to raise good sons and sent them to nice schools. That is why they are so proud at how both grew up to be successful and humble individuals. They truly are their Appa's and Mama's treasures.

The couple spent the rest of their day with mama Min serving Yoongi's favorite snacks. Then at night, she and Jimin cooked dinner for everyone. After dinner, Geumjae busted out some boardgames and they spent the rest of the night bonding over beer and yelling at each other because the brothers kept on cheating.

This morning, it was Yoongi's turn to cook for his family, opting to prepare Jimin's favorite waffles. He then took Jimin out for the day. They went around the neighborhood and local market to eat street foods. They then met up with Yoongi's oldest and closest friends at a local barbeque place. The couple enjoyed the night which was spent on reminiscing Yoongi's childhood. He's never been so embarrased in his entire life as his friends recounted their adventures to Jimin which often than not landed them in the principal's office and in Yoongi's case, on his Appa's knees. It truly was a fun night that unfortunately had to end.

Jimin smiled at his boyfriend who currently has a far away look in his eyes. He can totally relate considering he feels the same whenever he goes home to Busan.

"You miss them already, huh? Don't worry, babe. They promised to visit us so you'll see them again sooner than you think. Or, we'll just make an effort to come here more often.", Jimin assured his boyfriend as he moved closer to him and wrapped his arms around Yoongi's waist. Yoongi returned the gesture and held Jimin's head close to his chest after kissing his forehead.

"How about you, baby? Are you enjoying our stay so far? Are you ready to go back home to Seoul?", Yoongi quietly asked.

"Hmmm... yes, Yoonie. I'm thankful that we took this trip. It's nice to spend time with your family and friends. And I feel content just seeing you happy. Being here, I feel well rested and relaxed too. I'm ready to go back home and return to work.", Jimin looked up at Yoongi with hopeful eyes. "Please, Yoonie? Can I go back to the company next week? I promise if something happens or if I don't feel good I'll tell you so that you can take me home. Just please let me go back. I miss dancing already."
