You and the man clad in black and dark glasses lock gazes. "My dear I'd like you to meet my friend..." Aziraphale begins to say but is cut off. "Anthony?" You whimper as you drop your tea cup. It shatters on the wooden floor causing Aziraphale to jump. "(Y/N)? Is that really you?" Crowley says as he slowly gets up from his chair. "So you do know her Crowley?" Aziraphale asks as he sets the plates down. "Of course I know her. She was my wife." He slowly walks towards your stunned body. Tears are running down your cheeks as your eyes never leave his that are covered by sunglasses. "Hush darling don't cry." He coos as he wipes under your eyes with his thumb. He quickly pulls you into his chest and you instantly latch on to his tall slender figure.
"Your wife? I'm not following." Aziraphale says as he sits down. Crowley looks over at the angel and puts a finger to his lips. "We are having a moment angel. All will be explained soon." He sighs as he holds you tighter. "Hush now my star. I'm here, Anthony is here." He whispers then kisses the top of your head. You pull away to look at him and he smooths back your hair. "I missed you so much." "I know dear. I missed you too. I think we owe our friend an explanation though." He chuckles and you nod. He helps you into your chair and hands you a handkerchief to dry your eyes. "Oh goodness your tea cup. I'm sorry Aziraphale." You say realizing you dropped it. "Don't worry about it. Just tell me what happened." He says as he miracles the cup back in one piece.
You and Anthony begin to explain. It was long before the fall and the garden. You and Anthony were star makers. God summoned you both and wanted to try something out with you two being the test subjects. You were the first ever husband and wife. The Almighty wanted to try this pairing to see if it will be good for her next creation, the humans. She had you two fall deeply in love with each other and gave you rules to follow. Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It does not dishonor others. It is not self seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always truths, always hopes, always preserves. Love never fails. Your marriage pleased God and was saved for the humans. That's was all before the fall. Anthony was cast out due to his association with Lucifer. You were left heart broken and the only star maker. You pleaded with God to bring him back but what was done was done.
"What happened to the other star makers?" Anthony asks not understanding why you were the only one left. "The Almighty reassigned them to give me more creative freedom. Or something like that." The men exchange glances like they knew that creative freedom was just an excuse to give you more work and not think of your fallen husband.
Once Aziraphale was satisfied with your explanation you three started to eat. You were happy with your work as well as the men. "My Star you did a wonderful job. Everything tested so good." Anthony coos as he gently squeezes your hand. "Yes excellent work (Y/N)." Aziraphale praises as he dabs a napkin to his lip. "Now I believe it's time for the wine. Angel will you do the honors?" "Of course." He chuckles as he uncorks the bottle of red liquid. You all move to Aziraphale's desk area and Anthony gestures for you to sit on the small couch with him. As the wine flows Aziraphale asks, "why do you call her my star?" "Oh it's just a nickname angel. We were star makers and what we made was pretty and good. (Y/N) herself is pretty and good and was mine so I call her my star." Anthony says as he places his arm on the back of your shoulders. You cuddle into his side and he rests his head against yours. "I wish I had a nickname." Aziraphale teases causing Anthony to arch his brow. "You do." "I do?" "What do I always call you?" "Angel?" "Bingo." "Oh I didn't realize that was a nickname. How silly of me." He chuckles as his face reddens. Anthony throws his hands up in disbelief that it took Aziraphale 6000 years to figure out his own nickname. You giggle at the men and their lovely friendship. Once everything has calmed down you and Anthony exchange loving glances. "I feel the love you two have for each other. It's so nice." Aziraphale sighs with content as he brings the wine glass to his lips.
After the 2 bottles are empty and the night ending Aziraphale gets up from his chair. "I'm guessing you two don't really want to part ways right now huh?" You and Anthony nod. "Well you may stay here for the night Crowley." "Thank you angel." He sighs as he helps you up from the couch. You both help Aziraphale clean up then head to your bedroom.
