Aziraphale puts on his coat and opens the door of the bookshop for you. "After you my dear." "Thank you." You say with a smile. Once in the sun the light catches your gold markings around your eyes and fingertips. "Oh my." He gasps as he studies your features. "You're beautiful star maker. Please forgive me for being so forward. The Almighty took great care in creating you." You couldn't help but giggle. "Thank you Aziraphale." He nods and turns to lock the shop doors. He offers his arm and you take it. You both walk down the busy road towards the other shops. He leads you into a shop with clothing on display in the windows.

You get a few outfits, pajamas and a dressing gown all in white or creams. Even though angels mostly wore one color scheme each one had their own style. You liked dresses. They were comfortable and made you feel pretty. One thinking that they are pretty may have a twinge of the vanity sin in it but God allowed it. She liked when her angels felt good about themselves just as long as they don't go overboard with it. You were about to walk out with the items but Aziraphale stopped you. "We can't leave yet. We have to pay for these items." "Pay? What does that mean?" "Oh dear." He sighs through his smile. "On Earth if you want something from a shop you have to trade money for it." "Oh ok God sent me here with some of that." "Don't worry about that. I can get these for you." "Are you sure?" You ask as you put the items on the counter for the cashier. "I insist." He takes the bag and offers his arm again.

You go back to the bookshop and hang up your new clothes. You go out into the shop and find him reading in a chair. "Aziraphale?" "Yes (Y/N)?" "May I stretch my wings? They never been cooped up this long and are starting to get sore." "Of course dear. But they have to be put away when around humans." "Yes I know God told me. She said it might scare them." You sigh as you summon your wings and stretch them out. "Oh wow I can see why they were getting sore. They are so big, I guess that's because you're flying around the cosmos creating stars." He says putting down his book. "May I see yours?" You ask shyly not sure if he's comfortable showing them because he's been on Earth for so long. "Of course. They could use a good stretch." With a woosh his wings appear and he extends them to their full size. They were smaller then yours but still beautiful. You pulled your wings around your body to maneuver through the various books and bookshelves. You sit down in an open chair and just enjoy each others company and wings.

There was a shrill ringing sound that caused you to jump. "Sorry dear it's just the telephone. No need to worry." You nod as he picks the phone up from the receiver. "Hello Aziraphale speaking." "Is she there?" Crowley asks on the other end. "Yes why?" "Felt a new holy presence arrive not too long ago. Is she skittish? Do you think I could meet her soon?" "I can't tell just yet. But she's been really responsive. We had lunch and went shopping. She's going to give sleeping a try tonight." "Ah sounds like she's a delight. Unlike the other angels we've come across. Glad things are going well. I'll let you go then angel. Have fun." "Thank you dear friend. I'll keep you posted." "Mmhm." Crowley says before hanging up. Aziraphale puts down the phone and looks up at you smiling. "Was that head office?" You ask knowing he was talking about you to whoever was on the other side of the call. "Not just a friend of mine. I hope to introduce you two one day but after you get settled. He can be wily at times." He laughs before taking a sip of his coco.

"May I ask you a question?" You ask as you fluff out your feathers. "You can ask me anything (Y/N). No need to ask permission." "How did you learn so much about humans?" "I've been here since the first humans back in the garden. They interest me like you. You pick up on things if you live among them for so long." "Do you ever wish to be one?" "Not really but I wouldn't trade my assignment for anything. You?" He asks cocking his head to the side. "No I like being a star maker. But I wouldn't mind living among them like you do." "Well maybe the Almighty will allow you to stay once you learn about them. I'm starting to get hungry how about you dear?" He hums as he puts his wings away. "You eat lunch twice in one day?" "Yes humans eat 3 times a day. Once in the morning, that's called breakfast. Noon, lunch. And the evening that's called dinner." "Oh if that's what the humans do I guess I can be hungry too." You giggle and he smiles. "Don't force yourself darling. I know your body could take a bit to get used to this human stuff." "I wouldn't mind an apple again. And that tea drink that was really good." You put your wings away and follow Aziraphale to a new room in the bookshop.
