The Test

You are plummeting through the clouds at an alarming speed. You see the Earth open up and you prepare yourself for the scorching impact. You land hard on hot bedrock. You cry out in pain from the crash landing. Tears flood your cheeks as you try to get up only to fall back down. "Anthony please help me." You whimper as you try to get up again. You stumble to your feet and notice figures in front of you. "We have a new arrival lord Beelzebub." The tall man says with a frog on his head. "What is your name demon?" "My name is (Y/N)." "Where did you come from?" "Heaven. Did you not just see me fall?" You wince as you stand up straight to look at the one asking you questions. "Ah you're the star maker. The Almighty's favorite." Beelzebub sneers as she leans back in her throne. "Was the star maker. Was the favorite." "You must have really pissed her off to earn such a punishment. In order to admit you to our ranks we must test you to see if you really are a demon. Just parodical nothing to worry about. Haster a feather please." She says and the man with the frog you now know as Haster plucks one of your black feathers from your wing. "What are you going to do with it?" You ask as they carefully bring out a seemingly ordinary glass of water. "This is holy water. If you truly are a demon the feather will disintegrate. We have to test make sure they aren't sending spies." She says as drops it into the glass. It instantly bubbles and fizzes as the water eats away at the feather. "Congratulations you passed the test. Welcome to Hell (Y/N). Haster take her to see her new master." He nods and starts pushing you out of the room. "Hey easy there bud." "Move girl. Friendly welcome is over." He growls as he continues to shove you.

You make it to two large doors and are pushed inside. "Jackass." You grumble before a low chuckle catches your attention. "Star maker. I've been expecting you. Come closer." Satan himself bellows sending fear through your whole body. You look upon a large red beast with horns and hoofed feet. "Greetings master." You squeak as you quickly bow before him in his large throne. "God's favorite star maker is now one of mine. How fitting." "How so?" You ask as you slowly stand to your feet. He chuckles again as he stands up. "I was her favorite once. Back when I looked like this." He changes his form and you recognize him instantly. "Lucifer?" You gasp as a smile creeps on his face. "Yes it is I. I don't seem to remember you star maker. What is your name?" "(Y/N) my lord." You can see surprise in his face as he slowly circles you. "(Y/N)? Aren't you supposed to be the only one left?" "Yes sir." "Hmm I thought you were supposed to be the most beautiful out of all of the star makers. But now look at you." He says as he grips your chin and turns your face from side to side. He examines your new features. His hand moves in front of your eyes and you don't react when it passes your left eye. "Blind, I should have expected. But your other seems fine." He takes your hands in his and looks at your black fingertips and claws. "She made me this way." You whimper as fresh tears roll down your cheeks. "I see. The usual parting gift as you fall and land here. So what exactly did you do to earn this punishment?" "I told her I loved my husband." "You're husband? Oh my are you Crowley's wife?" "Yes sir." "I'm actually surprised and a little underwhelmed. She could have paired him with anyone. Why you?" "What do you mean why me? I'm a fucking star maker one of the more powerful entities in all of existence! You're just mad because you weren't picked to get a wife even though you were her so called favorite at the time." You spit as you use air quotes around favorite. He takes a step back as a smirk grows on his face. "I can see why now. You're a sassy one aren't you darling?" Lucifer coos as he caresses your face. "Please sir can I just go back to my husband now?" You ask stepping away from his hand. "Soon darling. He has been summoned."
