Hiya, two chapters in one day! I'm proud of myself! I had some trouble starting this chapter so hopefully you like it although I don't feel like it was the best. Dedicated to my friend/little sister Hannah because she kept telling me to finish this chapter! Yay!

*Mads POV*

I awoke the next morning, alone. I looked around my room in case Josh had fallen off the bed or something. I could hear loud chatter emitting from downstairs. I got up and slipped on my housecoat for warmth. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Matt, Josh, and Jess were all talking and laughing over breakfast. The glass and blood was cleaned up from the ground. I walked in cautiously and looked at everyone.

“Hey Mads,” Matt said.

“Uh morning,” I said. I was confused as to why everyone was so cheerful this early. “It’s early what’re you all doing up?” I asked.

“Mads it’s like one in the afternoon,” Josh said. I looked at the clock above our stove.

“None of you woke me because?” I didn’t appreciate not being woken up.

“You looked cute,” Jess said.

“Well because I looked so cute I only have six hours to get ready,” I growled.

“For what?” Matt asked suspiciously.

“My date,” Matt looked at Josh and eyed him carefully. “With Justin”

“Justin Brooks?” Josh asked. Josh looked so hurt and a little jealous.

“Yeah, I have to go out for a bit first though,” I started walking upstairs to get dressed.

“For what?” Matt asked.

“Tampons,” I lied. I needed to go see Dennis before my date or all hell would break loose.

“I can drive you? I need to go get some stuff as well” Josh offered.

“Okay…” I went upstairs and got changed and ready to face the day.

-

Josh pulled up in front of Dennis’ place. I looked at him.

“Mads I know you don’t need tampons,” Josh said.

“Whatever let’s go do this,” I got out of Josh’s car and walked up to the front door. Dennis opened the door and ushered us in.

“Haven’t seen you two together in a long time,” Dennis commented.

“We’ve been busy with other things and couldn’t hang out,” Josh said. Dennis handed us a paper bag with our supplies in it.

“Uh huh…”

“Okay thanks Dennis here you go” I pulled 100$ out of my pocket and handed it to him. Thank god for grandmas with money right? Josh and I walked out of the house and back to his car.

“We should probably buy you tampons so Matt and Jess don’t get suspicious,” Josh said.

“Yeah”

-

After I had bought tampons and Josh bought some pepperoni cheese stick we’d gone to the park. The feeling of the drug running through my veins didn’t affect me anymore, there was no more pain.

“So Justin Brooks eh?” Josh asked. We were sitting on a park bench.

“Yeah, he’s nice,” I replied. “Why, are you jealous?” I asked.
