Chapter 8

Hey! Me again! Woo hoo! I used Beside You because I couldn't find anything from Fix Me that went with this chapter. Judge Me. This chapter is a bit longer then most of my other chapters juust to let you know.

*Mads POV*

After our movie Josh and I decided to drop his car off at his house and then go for a walk.

“So there’s a music festival-like thing going on tomorrow out in Whistler and I was thinking we could go to it,” Josh said as we walked along. “We can even consider it as a date if you want,” He looked down at me and smiled.

“That sounds fun. What kind of music is going to be playing?” I asked. Josh slowly reached his fingers out and took a hold of my hand.

“I think some local bands and whatnot”

“You should see if you can sing,” I suggested. Ever since earlier today I’d been dropping hints for Josh to sing to me more often.

The color in Josh’s face drained. “Um, I don’t think that’s a very good idea Mads” I frowned.

“Why not? You sang in front of all those people today and you did amazing!”

“I was being spontaneous and it was for you,” Josh kissed my forehead.

“Yeah this can be for me as well. Please? I love hearing your voice,” I urged. He would sing for me whether he liked it or not.

Josh chuckled lightly. “You’ve only heard me sing once”

“Yeah and I want to hear it for the rest of my life,” I smiled up at him.

“I’ll sing to you if you spend the night with me after the festival,” Josh grinned.

“Oh um…where?” I asked nervously.

“At my house. My parents are gone for the weekend and my sister is staying at her friend’s house” Was he asking me to sleep with him?

“I don’t think that’s a good idea…”

“We don’t have to do anything, just cuddle and sleep,” Josh smiled.

“I’ll think about it”

“Okay”

Josh, Matt, and I decided to have a movie night tonight downstairs in our den. That’s where we kept our 65 inch flat screen TV and super comfy couch. We went on Netflix and each chose our favorite comedy movie to watch. We had 3 bowls of popcorn and a can of pop each. Josh and I were cuddled up on one side of the couch while Matt sat on the other side of the couch. It felt nice to have a good laugh with my brother and my pretty much boyfriend even though he hadn’t asked me to be his girlfriend yet. It was also nice to be able to cuddle and occasionally kiss Josh in front of Matt without him freaking out. Now I just had to figure out how to ask him about the festival and spending the night at Josh’s.

At the end of our second movie I stood up and faced the two most important men in my life.

“Matty I have a question for you,” I said. Josh raised an eyebrow at me.

“Ok ask away,” Matt said.

“Can I go with Josh to a music festival in Whistler tomorrow?”

“Yeah of course you can. Why wouldn’t you be able to?”

I ignored his question and finished mine. “And after it can I stay the night at his place?” Matt ‘ohhh’ed’ in realization.

“Mads I don’t really want to know you’re going there to…y’know…” Matt said awkwardly.
