It's been 2 months since we last saw SJ and she's settled into Waterloo road nicely. But she's excited because not only is she off to Afghan in 2 weeks but her auntie Marie is getting married this Saturday to fingers!
SJ sat eating her toast before school  whilst Max and Grace fussed and argued over a seating plan. Marie and Georgie were out early getting some last bits and bobs. SJ has seen she had 15 minutes before she needed to leave for the train, since her mum couldn't take her. Max and Grace's bickering got louder and louder "you see this, this is why no-one should ever get married" SJ chimed and Grace huffed exasperatedly "Right thank you for your Words of Wisdom" Max replied.
SJ went upstairs, cleaned her teeth, added a last spritz of hair spray and grabbed her bag "see ya" she called as she left the house.
She jammed out to music in her headphones on her way to school. As she got in she was met by Chlo the girls smiled and giggled "Moring SJ" Tom said and SJ smiled back "Morning Mr Clarkson" the girls giggled all the way to there lesson.
SJ got Chlo to paint her nails during the break "so SJ fancy going to the park after school?" Chlo asked "I can't I need to get flowers for my dad" SJ replied. Chlo nodded she understood as she'd lost her mum about 2 years before.
SJ fiddled with Elvis's Dog tags round her neck aimlessly, she really missed him. If she closed her eyes she could still hear him.
At the end of school SJ hugged Chlo and went on to buy flowers.
She continued on to the Army crematorium and found her dads name, it started to chuck it down with rain she placed the flowers down and tried to read the letter she wrote for him but the rain made the ink run. "I..I..I'm so sorry dad" tears rolled down her cheeks and she fell to her knees in the pouring rain.
It was getting late and Georgie was getting worried SJ still hadn't come home. SJ has left her phone at home in the morning, Georgie picked it up and rang Chlo.
Chlo: SJ hey
Georgie: no sorry Chlo is Georgie SJ's mum, do you know where she is please she hasn't come home.
Chlo: oh no I'm sorry I don't, she said she was going to get flowers for her dad. If that helps?
Georgie: that's great thank you Chlo
Georgie ended the calm and rang fingers.
Fingers: Georgaaaayyyyy
Georgie: right fingers are you still at the barracks.
Fingers: yeah why
Georgie: can you go to the army Crem
Fingers: but Georgie it's chucking it
Georgie: I know but I think SJ is there if she is please bring her home.
Fingers: aight george see you soon.

Sure enough a drenched through sapphire jade was knelt by a bed of flowers, she felt a hand on her shoulder "come on babe, let's go home" fingers said pulling her up and putting his arm round her, she soaked to the bone and shivering, he gave her his army jacket as they drove back. "SJ are you okay?" Fingers asked and SJ nodded "I just wanted to talk to him." She thimbled the dog tags again.
Fingers pulled up to the house and knocked, Georgie answered to door to see a bedraggled SJ on the door step "I'm sorry mum I just needed to talk to hi.." but Georgie cut her off by pulling her into a hug. "Fingers your dinner is on the table go through, SJ darling I've run a hot bath for you upstairs, go get out of those wet clothes there's a good girl" SJ went upstairs. Georgie sat down at dinner with her father, Marie, fingers and her mum. After dinner Georgie tucked SJ in bed and went into the hall to call captain James.
Georgie: hey Charlie it's me.
CJ: hey Georgie what's up?
Georgie: actually it's SJ
CJ: is earl bothering her again
Georgie: no no I don't think so this is about Elvis.
CJ:oh right
Georgie: I was wondering if you could have a chat with her see if she's okay.
CJ: I thought she was coping better?
Georgie: so did I! But she broke down in the army crem today. And she won't talk about it with me, almost as if she doesn't want to upset me or has to be brave for me.
CJ: right I'll pick her up after school tomorrow and have a little chat.
Georgie: thank you so much Charlie
CJ: your Welcome George, night.
