After the night we went to Emo nite I hadn't seen Colson since. I broke the arrangement off. I couldn't shake the feeling that I didn't want him I wanted $crim. Not that I told Colson that was the reason. I just said it had run it's course. He didn't seem too bothered. Charming

I couldn't stop thinking about him. $crim. I was like a woman possessed. I checked his social media more times that I'd like to admit. He didn't DM me like I'd asked. I was really gutted about that, even to just be polite. I'm guessing he didn't like me the way I thought. My radar must be broken. It's just the way he looked at me gave me a completely different picture. His eyes where burned into my memory forever.

I'd been busy my album had dropped the month before so I was in a press tour. It was No1 in the UK but I wasn't as popular over here so I had to work my ass off and talk to every radio station I could. I went to every event I was invited to just to get my face out there. My management where running me ragged. I needed a break.

That's when I got a random DM to invite me to an album listening party for the man that had been staring in my dreams. I jumped at the chance and made them clear my schedule as much as they could so I could spend a few days in New Orleans. He might not like me the way I want but I'd be stupid not to at least take them up on the party. Right? That didn't seem completely desperate did it?

I had to travel from Texas and we where doing it via car. Me and my PA Lexi took turns in driving and getting ready. I'd had a radio interview that morning so we had rocked up with no makeup, facemasks on in sweats and oversized t-shirts. They thought it was hilarious so we took photos for their insta. We drove singing along to our random playlist and drinking copious amounts of coffee. We didn't want to get dressed till we got to the party. Because we had no plug sockets we had to go old school and put rollers in our hair hoping to god it worked and we wouldn't rock up like hot messes.

We called in at our hotel quickly and changed. Making sure our hair and makeup was good and we wasn't a complete mess. We called an Uber and I was a bag of nerves the whole way. I was now overthinking. I had a habit of that. Habit of talking myself into things and regretting it but also talking myself out of things and regretting it. I'm not sure if this is one of those times. I needed a drink. Some Dutch courage. As soon as I get there I want a shot. Is that rude because he's sober? See I'm over thinking again.

We pull up at the address and I DM Ruby's girlfriend, like instructed. I'm guessing the security was tight. This place is nice. It's huge and gated, so really private. It was getting late, around 6 so the front lawn was lit up with lights down the driveway. There was a few people peppering the front lawn but I didn't recognize any of them. I saw Ruby and his girlfriend, Shay walking hand in hand towards me

"Hi, thanks for coming. $lick is going to be surprised to see you" Ruby grins

"What so he doesn't know I'm coming?" My anxiety spikes

"No we thought we'd suprise him" he chuckles

"Are you sure it's going to be a good suprise?" I look between them all unsure

"Definitely" his eyes seemed to sparkle as he took my hand pulling me through the house

I saw him leaning on the kitchen counter with his hip. His blonde hair swept back as usual with a black and white G59 shirt on, white tee under with his chains, jeans and wearing white fresh air force 1s. He looked hot. My stomach did a flip when I saw him. Shit I have no idea what to say to him. I take a deep breath as I tap him on the shoulder

"What does it take for a girl to get a DM these days, turn up at their house?" He looks light a deer in the headlights. I just want to reverse and run out and never see him again.

"What are you doing here?" He looks at me with his mouth open

"I can leave if you'd rather?" I giggle nervously

"N-no, I j-just can't believe your in my house, where MGK?" is he nervous too?

"No idea, would you rather it be him than me?" I pout jokingly, he bites his lip and his eyes fill with lust

" No definitely not, so you two broke up?" He can't help but smile as he graduly closes the gap between us

"We where never together" I smile up at him. Ruby clears his throat beside us. I'd completely forgot that we weren't alone. We both look at the small group of people around us and smile shyly knowing they have just witness our horrendously flirty conversation.

"Told you he would be happy to see you" Ruby smiles

"You set this up?" $crim raises his eyebrows

"Well someone had to make the first move and it didn't look like you where ever going to do it" he chuckled

"Shut up mane" he grumbles . I stifle a laugh. He looks down at me and my heart stops, what have I got myself into?
"I'm glad you came"
