I glared at Amon as he walked towards me.
"You weren't expecting me, I take it?" He asked as he walked up to me.
"What do you want from me?" I asked as I watched his every move.
"I want to give you freedom, I want to free you from your cage." He said as he walked around me.
"My cage? And what cage am I trapped in?"
"The cage where you believe they care about you. Don't you see that they are using you? I mean your own mother wanted to use you to-"
"She isn't my mother!" I snapped as I glared at him.
He stopped and looked at me.
"What about Tenzin? What is he to you?"
"My cousin, everybody knows that." I said angrily.
"Yes, your cousin.... you know I wonder what he would think if he learned the truth about you." He said as he crossed his arms behind his back.
"What truth?"
"The truth about you being a airbender." He said as he looked at me.
I felt my heart skip a beat as he walked towards me. I quickly backed away and my back hit the wall. His hand moved to my face and I held my breath.
"Tell me, how have they not learned what you are?" He asked in a whisper.
"What are you talking about? I'm nothing... I'm just a-"
"Airbender. You're an airbender."
"You're insane. I-"
"Don't lie to me girl. I see it in your eyes... you hate what others would call your gift... to you it's a curse." He said as he gently touched my face.
"I'm getting some rapey vibes from you and would kindly ask that you back off!" I snapped as I pushed him away.
A gust of air left my hands and he flew back and I let out a sigh as he hit the water. He climbed out and I moved to run away but I felt something wrap around my waist and I was pulled back. I looked down and saw a water whip.
"You're a waterbender." I said as I looked up at him in shocked.
"That isn't all my little bender." He said as he looked down at me.
I felt pain through my body and froze. My eyes went wide and I heard a chuckle leave his lips as fear overcame me.
"Walk to me." He ordered.
My legs moved on their own and I let out a gasp as I stopped in front of him. He removed his mask and I looked up at him. His face had make up running down it and I looked at him shocked as I met his eyes.
"You're a Blood bender." I whispered.
"I see you are a very clever girl." He said softly.
"How-"
"I was trained how to use it without a full moon... me and my loving brother... so tell me... why do you hide your bending?"
"I... had to... I..!" I gasped out.
"Why did you have to?"
"Korra... needed.. a friend.. couldn't.. leave!"
He let go of me and I fell to the ground.
"That wasn't so hard. Now, I am going to give you a choice... and you will choice to help me."
"Why would I help you?" I asked as I glared up at him.
"Because unless you want the Fire Ferrets to lose their bending, you will do everything I ask."
I looked at the ground and he let out a chuckle.
"I'll let you think about it." He said as he turned to leave.
"Wait! I'll help you! But you can't touch them... do you understand? You can not touch the airbenders... not Tenzin or his family... they keep their bending." I said angrily.
"Deal."
"What do you need me to do?" I asked as I looked up at him.
"Cut all ties with the avatar and the airbenders. Then leave the temple and go to the apartments down town... ask for room 20." He said sternly.
"Alright, I'll do it." I said as I looked down at the ground.
"Good, I will see you there... my dear Akari." He said as he turned and walked away.
I felt tears stream down my face and I let out a sob. I hit the ground and then covered my mouth.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry Korra." I whispered.
