"Why did you want to come here?" Lucy asked when they pulled into the driveway of Daniel and Rosalie's house.
"Because, dear... any time we come here, it reminds me that we'll always be together."
A rickety shiver of feverish excitement traveled up her spine at Freddie's confident comment when she took his hand and let him lead her out the backseat of the car. "You're so fucking perfect. You were taken straight out of my dreams, I'm sure of it."
Freddie shook his head and refused to hide his smile. "Oh tell me how you really feel, darling..."
Lucy settled for simply making a wish in hopes that Rosalie wouldn't be upset with them for showing up at such an ungodly hour of the night. She was thankful to see that Rosalie pulled the front door shut behind her and scurried over toward them with her arms outstretched. They knew it was coming: She was preparing to absorb both of them into one of her hugs.
"Rosalie dear, your gift to me was wonderful, I looked fabulous in it at my bandmate's wedding,"
Lucy tried to peek over at Freddie, only seeing the shiny hair on his head buried into the bone-crushing group hug, leaving her wondering how on earth he found air in his lungs to get that out.
When Rosalie released them, Lucy threaded her fingers with Freddie's and joined in with a smile. "Yes, he nearly stole the entire show from the bride,"
"It's always lovely to see you Freddie dear—things have been going well, I see?" As if on cue and spotlighted for her big break, Rosalie began her own theatrical performance of Bohemian Rhapsody for them, with Freddie clapping much to his own delight.
"Come come—Daniel's sleeping. Our party's outside."

A brief but joyful reunion sat aboard The Dutchess out on the lake of Rosalie and Daniel's estate. The moon followed their string of incandescent red lanterns hanging from the boat lighting their path along the lake while they chatted into merry late hours of the night turning morning.
Rosalie refilled Freddie's glass with wine while his arm that was snaked around her waist held her all night, right there where he wanted her on his lap.
"You're even harder to keep up with now that Freddie's around..." Rosalie squeezed Freddie's shoulder. "It's good that he's keeping you busy."
He lifted his glass to his lips with a smile that showed all of his teeth, fingers holding the glass with delicacy in front of a suggestive bump of his eyebrows.
"You should take Freddie out to fly sometime... What do you think, Lucy? You think he'd have a good time?" Rosalie's instigating eyes shifted toward Lucy.
A bit blown away, Freddie paused.
"Fly?!"
"Lucy sweetie.." Rosalie's tone intentionally stirred Freddie's curiosity further. "You've never told Freddie that you can fly planes?"
