Chapter 6

October's POV

I was beyond pissed last night when Nova had told me and mom that Jake had cheated on her, with her best friend. I can't believe it. Riley had John, what more could she want? That is why I've decided, I will make sure both of them pay for what they did to my twin. No one messes with Nova Rainhart and gets away with it.

I walk into Nova's room, after getting ready. She is on her bed, reading a book.

"Hey sis." I greet her.

"Hi. Good morning." she replies.

"You gonna be ok?" I ask. She just nods.

"Kk, bye then. I'll get your work for you today and we can do it together, like we always did when we were younger." I tell her. She nods again, close to tears. I give her a side hug. Mom let her stay at home till Monday, and arranged with the school to give me her work to bring home and to school as well.

I walk into school. Jake wasn't on the bus today, and honestly I didn't expect him to be. And neither did I want to see him. Because if I did see him he would have been dead by now. As I walk to my locker, I see John, Riley's boyfriend.

"Hey." I greet him.

"Oh hi Oct." He replies in a very sad tone.

" you k?"

"Riles cheated on me."

"Yes, I know. That bitch cheated with Jake. The assholes."

"Yea I saw them. I saw Nova in the library yesterday and saw them. She saw them too."

"Yea she told Harry and man he was raging. That asshole isn't here today. Probably dead or recovering from whatever Harry did to him." I say with a look that could kill in my eyes.

"Yea, well I hope that idiot got what he deserved. And knowing Harry, he probably all but killed him." He replies. I nod and the bell rings. I bid him goodbye and walk to class. Science. Imma see that bitch of a friend and try not to kill her.

I walk into science and the first thing I see is red hair. Luckily I don't sit next to her anymore or she would be dead before the teacher walks into class. I walk to the back, where Matt, my boyfriend is sitting.

"Hey babe." He says, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey."

"You hung up in a hurry yesterday. Everything ok?"

"Jake cheated on Nova."

"Shit man. I am so sorry."

"With Riley." I finish.

"Oh gosh." He says when the teacher walks in. We both stay quiet for the rest of class.

I walk into the office, and greet the secretary, Mrs. Grace. She smiles at me, and hands me Nova's work.

"I am so sorry to hear about Nova. Hope she feels better." She says to me. I nod.

"Yea, thanks Mrs. Grace." I say to her as I walk out of the office. Mom told the school that Nova has the flu, because honestly, who the hell would care if she found her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend? And, yes, my mom lied. She taught us that lying is bad, yet here we are. Hypocrite I tell you, complete hypocrite.

Nova's POV

It is almost time for Oct to come back home. She has cheerleading today, so she's gonna take the late bus. Mom has to work later than usual, something about a new project and stuff.

I had woken up at 9 today, having cried myself to sleep, I was still tired after Oct had left at 6:30, so I cried myself to sleep. Again. After waking up, I did my normal routine, but instead of wearing cloths for school, I wore nice, fluffy pajamas. I went downstairs and grabbed a big bowl of chocolate and vanilla icecream, and went back upstairs to my room.

I scrolled through Netflix, and randomly put on My Babysitter's a Vampire, one of my favorite shows. I finished all of the icecream in the first season, and went downstairs to get more. This time, I chose coffee, and also grabbed a bar of chocolate and a bag of chips on my way out of the kitchen. I finished watching My Babysitter's a Vampire, and switched to Every Witch Way. 

Then, my mom called, and we talked for a while. I knew that Harry was also in the house with me. Mostly because he tried to talk to me, but I put in my airpods the second I heard footsteps near my door, and put my mac on mute so he thought that I was listening to something through my airpods. I started to bob my head, like I was listening to music, while I was actually reading the captions of the videos. Yes, I know, I am smart.

After several failed attempts of trying to talk to me, he gave up and kept to his room. And I let him be like that.

I finished watching Every Witch Way as well, and decided to take a break. I just listened to music while reading my favorite books, Harry Potter.

I hear the front door open and close, and footsteps approaching my door. Oct walks in, and I take my airpods out.

"So, how was school?" I ask her.

"Eh. The usual, except for the fact that you weren't there, you know." She replies.

"Was, um, was he there?" I whisper. I still can't stay his name, the wound is still too fresh.

"No, but she was there."

"Oh."

"She didn't talk to me, and sat with Satin."

"Oh." I am so close to tears. Satin, who's real name is Satiana, is the popular girl. She is such a snob, and a complete bitch. Riley hated her, and now she sits with her.

"Hey, let's do our work?" Oct says. I nod, and we get to work.

Soooooooooooooooo. Chapter 6 ppl. Harry Potter is AWESOMEEEEEEE. Im a Slytherin. What house r u ppl in????? Byeeeeeeee. C u in the next chapterrrrr.
