Episode 63: Without You

Pride Trooper's HQ,9:30 P.M"

X walks down the hallway with his earphones in as he heads towards his room with Chinese takeout. The door slides open as X walks inside of his dark room.

X: I've got your favorites right here!

X takes a seat on the bed and sets the food on the bed before turning his flat screen TV on.

X: Look. I know what you've done earlier was really irresponsible and your decision kinda ruined the relations with the team a bit,but at the end of the day they said what they said only to keep you in line. Ok? Babe?

X turns the lights on only to find that no one's in his room.

X: Blackfire?

X walks out of the room and walks down the hallway before heading out onto the rooftop where he spotted a fast moving figure speeding through the sky.

X: Damnit! Where is this girl?

X walks back inside and heads into the garage where he hopped onto his motorcycle before driving off into the stormy night.

"GT Military Headquarters"

Inside of the control room, operators and military officials worked around the clock as King Cold entered with his arms behind his back and an angered look on his face.

Tuffle#30: We've managed to pinpoint the location of their HQ! Awaiting your orders to commence the operation!

King Cold: Put the operation on hold! I've got business to settle tonight!

King Cold turns around before heading out to the double doors, followed by GT Spec Ops soldiers.

Song- Breaking Benjamin: Without You

King Cold walked down the hallway, causing his frightened secretaries and guards to back away in fear as he headed into his office before locking the door.

"Search for the answers I knew all along. I lost myself. We all fall down."

King Cold stood before a picture of his sons,Cooler and Frieza at his side.

King Cold: They have stolen our family's honor. Now they will pay the ultimate price for taking you away from me!

"Never the wiser of what I've become. Alone I stand. A broken man!"

King Cold stands out on the balcony, looking down in sorrow as he pulled a remote from his suit.

"All I have is one last chance!"

King Cold mashes the button, activating several generators within the area.

"I won't turn my back on you! Take my hand! Drag me down! If you fall then I will too and I can't save what's left of you!"

Suddenly Blackfire descended from the sky as she landed on the balcony.

Blackfire: It's payback time for ruining my life Cold!

King Cold chuckles as he begins cracking his knuckles.

King Cold: Allow me to show you what 350 pounds of sheer muscle is truly capable of!

"Say something new! I have nothing left! I can't face the dark without you!" 

Blackfire and King Cold launch towards one another before trading blows. Blackfire dodges Cold's fist before delivering a hard uppercut to the chin followed by a kick to the jaw.

"There's nothing left to lose! The fight never ends!" I can't face the dark without you!"

King Cold elbows Blackfire in the face and knees her in the chest before slamming his elbow into the Tamarainian's back, sending her crashing into the parking lot below where GT Spec Ops operatives surrounded the crater.

Meanwhile X watches from the rooftop unoticed.

X: No!

King Cold stands over Blackfire who was mildly wounded.

"Pain so familiar and close to the heart! No more! No less! I won't forget!"

King Cold kneels down and grabs Blackfire by the throat before lifting her from the ground.

King Cold: The day I lost my son Frieza was the day I lost everything! You've taken away everything I've ever truly cared about! Now I'm going to make everyone on this planet suffer!

Blackfire spits a pint of blood onto King Cold's face before arrogantly smirking.

"Come back down! Save yourself! I can't find my way back to you and I can't bare to face the truth!"

King Cold raises Blackfire a few feet before slamming her into the ground once again, causing it to shake.

Blackfire: Your son got what he deserved tonight! Even if you do kill me you'll still getting yours real soon!

King Cold becomes angered as veins bulged from his large fists.

"Say something new! I have nothing left! I can't face the dark without you!"

King Cold lets out a mighty yell before slamming his fists onto Blackfire's ribcage, shattering the ground into pieces and shaking the area on impact.

X: NOOO!!!

"There's nothing left to lose! The fight never ends! I can't face the dark without you!"

King Cold pulls out his Desert Eagle as X quick leaps from the rooftop. X roundhouse kicks King Cold into a light pole as the GT Spec Ops team opened fire.

King Cold: Cease fire and fall back! We've got other matters to worry about!

King Cold and his spec ops team walk off before hopping inside of a waiting helicopter which immediately took off. The song died down as X walked up to Blackfire before lifting her up in his arms.

X: Blackfire! Say something! Please!

Blackfire slowly opened her eyes as he began taking her last few breaths.

Blackfire: X...x?

X: Come on! Speak to me!

Blackfire: I... I'm s..so sorry.

Blackfire's eyes slowly shut as he took her final breath, dying in X's arms. A wind blew over as X lowered his head, shedding a few tears.

The ground began shaking as X began powering up.

X: NOOOOOOOOO!!!

X erupted into an aura as he began yelling in anger. A yellow beam ascended into the sky before piercing through the clouds, creating a bright flash of light seen in outer space.

X fell back to his knees before slamming his fists against the ground. Gigan teleported beside X and places his hand on his friend's shoulder.

Gigan: I'm sorry.

The rain continued pouring down as the mourning continued through the night.
