Dark Ages: Part 6

"Planet X"

The unconscious Saiyans,Goku and Vegeta were carried off from the battlefield by Titano as they were hauled off to the crumbling palace.

Titano: They're still alive,but barely! We're going to have to take them to Korin's Tower for some Senzu Beans!

Kiryu lifts his wrist as he began typing in the coordinates. A few seconds later a large portal had opened.

Kiryu: Alright everyone! Bus is leaving! We don't have all day!

Gigan, Titano, Titina,Goku and Vegeta head through the portal while Xavier had looked through the hole in the wall at his father. Blackfire walks up to him before grabbing ahold of his hand.

Blackfire: Let's go home.

Blackfire picks up Xavier and looks back at X for one last time before she headed through the portal with Kiryu. The palace had began crumbling into pieces before it had eventually collapsed, burying everyone inside alive.

Meanwhile, X and Khaos had confronted one another in the ruins of the city.

Khaos: I have seen your future Kaizer and it is death!

Kaizer: "I don't fear anything! Not even death itself!"

Khaos: But they are fates worse than death awaiting you and your little mortal comrades!

Khaos launches a wave of flames at X who had raised his arms in order to block. The dust clears as Kaizer was revealed to Khaos.

Khaos: So you've finally decided to show yourself? Brother!

Khaos forms two Spiked Flail constructs made of dark energy before hurling them at Kaizer who had ascended into the sky as they smashed into the ground.

Kaizer (X): Let's go!

Kaizer launches towards Khaos and tackles him into the ground, generating a powerful shockwave which obliterated nearby buildings. Khaos kicks Kaizer in the chest, sending him hurling into the sky as he flew after him. 

Khaos: You still fight for the weak as usual Kaizer! Can't you see that is why you always lose?

Khaos forms a Sword construct.

Khaos: If you were truly wise then you would've joined me from the beginning and we could've walked in greater worlds as Gods!

Kaizer: Sorry! But Earth is good enough for me!

Khaos: How unwise! 

Khaos swings his blade as Kaizer ducks before roundhouse kicking him in the face, sending him crashing into the ground below with a thunderous boom. Kaizer descends from the sky before tearing an entire 10 story building from the ground as Khaos stood to his feet.

Kaizer throws the building at Khaos who had shattered it into pieces with his fist. Khaos forms two Plasma Cannon constructs and fires a barrage of energy blasts at Kaizer.

Kaizer blocks the blasts with arms as he ran through the barrage before punching Khaos in the jaw, sending blood flying from his mouth.

Khaos spits one of his teeth out before backhanding Kaizer, sending crashing through several buildings as he crashed into a nearby facility which had collapsed on impact.

Kaizer climbed from underneath a pile of rubble as he dizzily stumbled backwards before falling down to one knee. Khaos descends from the sky as he had began laughing at Kaizer.

Khaos: Come on!

Kaizer growled as he surrounded his fists with flames before launching a wave of fire at Khaos. Khaos forms a Shield construct as he blocks the flames.

Kaizer charges forward and slams his shoulder into Khaos, shattering his shield on impact. Kaizer then grabs Khaos by the head before slamming him into a nearby wall.

Khaos mulekicks Kaizer, sending him sliding across the ground. As Kaizer stood back to his feet, Khaos tackled him and pinned him against a wall as he formed a Bone Protrusion.

Khaos: You don't deserve this power!

Khaos plunges the Bone Protrusion into Kaizer's stomach, causing him to scream out in agonizing pain as the bone had broken off. Khaos forms a second Bone Protrusion and stabs it into Kaizer's shoulder.

Khaos forms a third Bone Protrusion only to be kneed in the chest by Kaizer before being head-butted. Khaos stumbled backwards as Kaizer had fell down to one knee as pulled the bone from his stomach.

Xorrax: "Don't bother!"

Khaos: The poison flowing through your veins will corrupt as it kills you both slowly and painfully!

Xorrax: "But it matters not!"

Khaos forms another Bone Protrusion as he approached Kaizer.

Khaos: I'm going to kill you before the poison even has the chance to reach your heart!

Suddenly the ground began shaking as Kaizer had began glowing red. Kaizer looks up at Khaos before launching at him faster than the speed of light, obliterating everything around him.

Kaizer (X): CRIMSON FIIIIIISSSSSSST!!!

Kaizer delivers an extremely powerful punch to Khaos' jaw, snapping his neck as a shockwave was generated on impact as the entire city was obliterated.

"North City, Night"

The portal opened as Blackfire, Xavier,Gigan,Titano, Titina and Kiryu along with Goku and Vegeta had stepped out onto the streets while construction vehicles while rode past.

Xavier: Where's daddy?

Blackfire: He'll be here any minute now sweetie!

Blackfire kisses Xavier on the head.

Back on Planet X,the dust cleared as X was seen impaled through the stomach by a Bone Protrusion on Khaos' corpse. Khaos' hand had slumped over as the protusion was pulled from X's body as he groaned in pain before falling backwards.

Kaizer: X! I'm sorry.

X: I...it's ok.

Unknown to X,Khaos had begun regenerating as his broken neck was repaired in a matter of seconds before he had arose to his feet.

Khaos: You'll suffer a slow and painful by my hand!

Suddenly a comet had streaked across the sky, catching Khaos' attention as he had turned around to look.

Xorrax: "What was that?"

Khaos: That was a fragment of the Orion Star!

Khaos opened a portal as he walked through before it had eventually closed, leaving X to die on the ground.

X: Is he gone?

Kaizer: Yes,but the Earth is in grave danger.

X: Well what am...I going to do? I'm all beaten and broken! I..I'm on the verge of death! There's nothing I can do n...now! There's no hope!

Kaizer: "There's always hope!"

X summons his remaining energy to stand back up.

Kaizer: "There's only way to defeat Khaos for good and our hope lies within that Orion Star fragment."

X turns around as he smokes the tower of smoke in the distance.

Kaizer: "Keep in mind that wielding pure Orion Star fragments can be fatal. Are you sure you're willing to do this X?"

X: Yes! I'm willing to do whatever it takes to protect my family and friends! Even if it does mean risking my own life for them.

X began the long and painful journey down the trail as he was on the way to collect the Orion Star fragment.
