"Tara na sis! Baka hindi natin maabutan yon!" halos mangiyak-ngiyak na salita ng kaibigan na halos baliin ang kanan kong kamay sa paghila para lamang mas mapabilis ang aming pagtakbo
Instead of pulling my right arm from her, I just let her drag me to where she wants us to go...
Sa bakanteng lote
Kung saan halos lahat ng tao sa bayan ay doon nagtipon upang masilayan ang pagbagsak ng mga tila bituin na siyang nagsisilbing tagapagpatupad lahat ng mga nais na hiling
My jaw dropped as I saw the little lights coming from the sky.
This is so beautiful.
I closed my eyes and whispered my wish...
'Can you find someone that will be there for me till the next fall of meteors?'
As I open my eyes, a strange feeling suddenly envelops me while closely watching the meteors falling again.
Seems like, I am connected to them for some reason
"Did you know that it takes a hundred years to see meteors approaching the earth?"
Kaagad akong napalingon sa kung saan nanggagaling ang mababang tinig na iyon.
I saw Klein happily watching the meteors.
The smile on his lips reach his eyes that cause me to see the reflection of the falling stars on it
I flinch a bit when he face me, still wearing that sweet smile that everyone is craving for
"Promise me, you'll still be on that same spot in the next meteora" he said pointing to where I am standing
I smiled as I said the word he wants me to say
"Promise"
...
I look at the sky as the falling stars approach us again.
I smiled and hold his hand tightly, averting my eyes on him
I saw the wrinkles on his still handsome face as I am staring directly to a human masterpiece
Still seeing the falling stars reflect his eyes
He stroke my all white hair gently and face me.
After so many years...
It is still him who stayed with me under the falling meteors.
"You are the star that gives me light in times of darkness. And I am a meteor who keeps on falling to a beautiful planet. The stars witness how we started, the stars will witness how it ends" he said planted a soft kiss on my wrinkled forehead
I smiled and whispered,
'I love you till the last meteor falls'.
