I forcedly open my eyes to stop the annoying sound of something on the table near the bed

Babe, asan ka? Hindi ka umuwi kagabi. Nagaaalala na ako. Please tell me you're alright. I asked Kaye but she said hindi nya daw alam kung nasaan ka
I let a deep sigh and tossed the phone back on the table-- ignoring the message I got
Nakarinig ako ng isang mahinang halinghing mula sa kabilang gilid ng aking kama
I saw Kaye with her messy hair and naked body.
"You okay, honey?" she asked
"Your best friend texted"
She rolled her eyes and sit properly holding the comforter near her breast to hide it
"Kailan mo ba sya balak hiwalayan, Leandro? We've been hiding behind the curtains for so long! I can't let you na pahabain pa ito!"
She irritatedly stood up from the bed, took her clothes and close the door of my condominium harshly
Muli akong bumuntong hininga bago sinimulang mag-ayos ng sarili

"Hey, babe!" my girlfriend Eissen cheerfully said before hugging me tightly
I forcefully smiled and hug her too
"I miss you. Saan ka ba nanggaling? Nagalala ako sa'yo kagabi" malambing na sabi nito habang ang mapupulang labi ay nakanguso
I stared at her for awhile. Trying to see if she can still make my heart beats faster.
But she couldn't
"Tulala ka? Halika, I prepared dinner kasi hindi ka nakapunta kagabi. It was our anniversary but anyways, you're here now so... hindi na ako nagtatampo" she said while a smile is still on her lips
Oo nga pala. I forgot
We started eating. She can't stop telling me how happy she is to have me while I remain silent like a close zipper is plastered on my mouth
"Syanga pala, babe. I--"
A knock from the door stopped her from saying the things she want.
Tumayo si Eissen at binuksan ang pinto.
I got pale when I saw who it was
It was Kaye.
"Hi, best friend. Buti nakapunta ka! Come in"
Kaye walk in and sat beside Eissen
"I invited her here, babe. I know you want this moment to be a private one but Kaye said she has something to say"
Bigla akong kinabahan sa sinabi ni Eissen.
What is it? Is it about us being a secret lover?
"Babe, can I talk to Kaye for a minute? Paguusapan lang namin yung surprise para sa'yo" I excused and immediately dragged Kaye in the kitchen
"Ano bang pinaplano mo?!" I hissed
"Pinaplano? I'm planning to tell her what we have, Leandro!"
"Can you wait? Hindi pa ito ang tamang panahon!"
"I can't wait! Please tell her already that you don't love her anymore and I'm now the one who owned your heart" she said dramatically and kiss me passionately
I can't help but respond to her kisses. Nakakahumaling ito na tila nakalimutan ko na may isang tao na maaaring masaktan
I push Kaye and opened my eyes where it found Eissen standing near the kitchen's door-- crying
"Ito ba ang sinasabi mong surprise?" she said between her sobs
I immediately walk to her and hold her arms forcing her to face me while repeating the word sorry
"Is this what you want?" she asked
Hindi ako umimik sa halip ay nanatiling tahimik at pinakikinggan ang kaniyang pagiyak
She slapped me before walking away.
The last thing I remember was the harsh way of closing the door

Kaye and I became in a relationship. We're happy...
But not as happy as what I felt before...
I let her go...
Without knowing that the love is still here yet it's hiding to test me...
But it's too late...
Too late to say
Because here I am sitting beside her groom while watching the love of my life walking into him-- my best friend
I can't help but blame myself...
