Chapter Six

My eyes open and all I see is white, the ceiling, the walls, the tiles even the bed, everything was god Damn white! Wait!..... where am I?

Something shifts beside me making me freeze...

"Astrid, you awake?" A familiar voice said beside me and I know that voice, Andrew black.

I turn to look at him and I instantly get lost in his beautiful blue eyes. We just sat there staring at each other for god knows how long until I decide to break the silence "What are you doing here? What am I doing here? where am I? What happened?-".

"Hey, Astrid calm down baby, and I am here because I care about you and you passed out at school and had to be taken to the hospital because of the bruises all over your body- and um... Astrid how did you get those bruises Astrid, please tell me?" he demanded, but I ignored the last question.

"Baby?" i laugh and he blushes.

OMG, I just made the bad boy, Andrew black blush! mission accomplished. Well, it wasn't really a mission but at least I made it happen.

"Astrid-" he didn't get to finish his sentence because the door to my hospital room opened and a nurse with natural flaming red hair, green eyes, and a pair of blue long pants and a blue sleeve shirt that has a tag on it that said Dr. green and there was a stethoscope hanging around her neck.

"Hey, sweety how are you feeling," Dr. green asked with a sweet smile the showed off her perfectly white teeth. I guess she was probably in her late 20's and she was absolutely beautiful.

"I feel great. So how long will I be in the hospital for?" I asked a bit scared of knowing what my dad will do to me when I don't go street home after school.

"I think you are going home when your dad gets here to pick you up sweetheart" My eyes widen my heart starts beating ten times faster than it should be and I'm surprised the Dr and Andrew didn't hear it. No no no! My dad can't pick me up, do you know what he will do to me, he will kill me!

"NO!" I cried.

"What's wrong Astrid?" Andrew grabbed my chin and turned my face so I was looking at him and he caresses my cheek with his thumb "What's wrong? I can help baby, just let me in. Please" I feel a tear trickle down my cheek. Andrew leaned in and kisses the tear away and sits his for head against mine "Let me in" so much emotion flashed across his face it made me wanna cry.

"Aw you kids are so cute" Dr. green flashed us a grin before she said "But I need to check your heart okay Astrid?" all I can manage is a nod when Andrew is stroking my hair, I don't think I can manage to say a single word.

"Sit up please sweetheart" Dr Green nodded at me. I try to sit up but the pain in my ribs, stomach and back explodes through my body and I give a cry of pain so Dr Green and Andrew help me sit up but Andrews's hands linger on my waist a little longer than necessary. "Okay I'm just going to listen to your heart" Dr Green puts the stethoscope plugs in her ears then lifts up my shirt which makes me tense because I didn't want anybody to see the bruises on my body.

As soon as my shirt is up to my bra line I look at the Dr, and her eyes are wide, she has the look of disgust on her face then I look at Andrew, and I deeply regret it because he looks furious while his eyes are scanning my stomach and ribs, his fists are cleansed in tight balls, and his breathing is fast, and the look on his face tells me he is thinking he is going to kill someone and that kinda scared me.

The nurse shakes her head and places the cold stethoscope on my heart and nods then moves it in different places for about five minutes "Astrid sweaty how did you get all these bruises?" the nurse asked sweetly.
