How I rejoice in your being.
Sun, your light brightens all I am seeing,
The sky, so blue,
With your strains of white,
Are gifts to my eyes,
Who dine in your sight ;
Oh, colours!
Your vibrance swells you in me
Oh trees, Oh bricks,
You seem to be,
so perfectly.
Oh how your passion fires,
All my desires,
To be One yet My self,
To live rightly as your squire.
Oh sounds of the day,
The melody you play,
Moves my body to such harmony,
That life brightens in your wake.
Oh life!
As I watch your dance, this fight,
This fight of life,
Seems bearable,
And worth striving to your height.
