"Say 'Ah', Aurora," you instructed with a playful grin.
She happily complied, opening her mouth wide as you fed her a bite of your sandwich, eliciting a giggle from her. Jungkook and Chansook occasionally glanced over at the two of you while discussing the upcoming tour.
"Does it taste good?" Chansook asked Aurora as the little girl sipped on her strawberry milkshake, her feet swinging in joy.
Aurora hummed in approval before answering with a big smile, her gums showing. It reminded you and Jungkook of the smile Yoongi always had when he was happy.
"My Little Pony!"
You all cooed at Aurora's cuteness, unable to resist her adorable demeanor. You placed a hand over your heart, looking like a proud parent, while Chansook wore a betrayed expression on her face.
"But why? I thought you kids liked Peppa Pig more," Chansook remarked, feigning disappointment.
Aurora nodded, holding a finger up as if to explain. "That's true, but I like My Little Pony the most," she declared confidently, her eyes shining with excitement.
You couldn't help but throw Chansook a smug smile as she crossed her arms, conceding defeat in the playful debate about children's cartoons.
"There are so many other popular children shows, like Winx Club, Dora, Sofia the First, Phineas and Ferb, Pocoyo, Mia and me, Avatarㅡ"
"Isn't Avatar a film for adults?" Jungkook cut in, unaware of the impending storm his words would unleash. You and Chansook threw him a glare, and he shifted uneasily in his seat. "Did I say something wrong?" he asked timidly, sensing the tension in the air.
You stood up from your seat, chopstick in hand, with a hard expression on your face. Chansook immediately held you back. "Woah, chill, there's a child here," she reminded you, trying to diffuse the situation.
"Even if I have the urge to stab him as well..." Chansook muttered the last part under her breath, but unfortunately, Jungkook heard it, and his eyes widened in fear.
You maintained your position, pointing your chopsticks at Jungkook as he tried to make himself as small as possible.
"But he said something unforgivable!" you huffed out, your frustration evident. "Jungkook, how could you say that? We obviously mean Avatar: The Last Airbender! Didn't you watch it when you were young?"
Jungkook shrunk even deeper into his seat, realizing the gravity of his mistake.
You dramatically sat back down, wiping the none existent tear away from your eye.
Chansook just looked at you weirdly. "I mean, Avatar: The last Airbender wasn't even that goodㅡ"
You were about to flip the table over if it weren't for the fact that Aurora had to witness this.
"Who are you?!" You stared at her, disbelief evident in your voice.
She just shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "Even Star Wars: The Clone Wars is better," she remarked casually.
"I watched that too, but how could you have not watched Avatar?" you exclaimed, incredulous.
"It was boring anyway—" she started.
"Boring?!" you shrieked.
"Uh, guys?" Jungkook interjected timidly, attempting to diffuse the escalating argument.
But you and Chansook were too engrossed in the conversation to pay him any attention. "What did you even watch in your childhood?!" you demanded.
"Other things, but obviously not Avatar: The Last Airbender," she retorted with a hint of defiance.
