As Hoseok and the others chatted amongst themselves in the practice room, Jimin found himself engaged in conversation with Carla a few meters away. The atmosphere in the room, however, was heavy with tension and disappointment. Ever since Carla had revealed the shocking revelation about you being two-faced, the mood among the members had soured considerably.
They had always found your presence comforting, and Namjoon, in particular, had held you in high regard. Learning of your alleged deceit hit him especially hard, and he struggled to come to terms with the betrayal.
Carla's words had painted a damning picture, accusing you of manipulating them and lying to gain their trust, all for your own selfish motives. Despite his initial hesitation, Namjoon found himself swayed by the others' trust in Carla, especially since she had been the one injured in the altercation.
The door creaked open, drawing the attention of the group, and in stepped their manager Sejin, carrying a large, seemingly heavy plastic bag. Seokjin straightened up, offering a polite bow as the others greeted Sejin.
Approaching with a small bow of his own, Seokjin offered his assistance. "Do you need help with that?"
Sejin's head peeked out from behind the bag, offering a grateful smile. "Thank you, but no thank you," he replied, his tone appreciative yet firm.
Seokjin's curiosity piqued as he eyed the sizable bag. "What's in there?" he inquired, prompting the others to lean in attentively, eager to know.
With a small realization, as if he forgot the reason for why he was here, Sejin's expression shifted, and he turned his attention to the lead dancer. "This is Hoseok's late birthday present from a dear friend of yours," he explained, gesturing towards Hoseok, who looked surprised at the revelation. He pointed at himself questionably and their manager nodded.
He walked over to Hoseok, who was sitting on the ground and carefully put the bag down in front of him. "Well, my job is done here, see you guys!" Before Hoseok could ask his manager from which friend it was, the male was already out the door.
"Don't look like he's still there and just open it. I'm curious about why it's like the size of half of your body." Yoongi stared at the bag in wonder and held his head up with his hand.
With a deep breath, Hoseok gingerly untied the knot and pulled out the contents, his eyes widening in disbelief as he revealed the surprise inside. Gasps of amazement echoed around the room as the others caught sight of the unexpected gift.
In his arms was a giant Pusheen plushi who's eating sushi with her small paws.
As Hoseok hugged the giant Pusheen plushie in sheer delight, his screams of happiness filled the room, drowning out any other sound. His joy was infectious, and the others couldn't help but share in his excitement as they admired the adorable gift.
Amidst the commotion, a small card slipped unnoticed from the bag, falling to the ground. Carla's sharp eyes caught the movement, and without hesitation, she swiftly retrieved it, concealing it within the pocket of her hoodie.
Jungkook's brow furrowed slightly as he observed Carla's actions, a hint of suspicion flickering in his gaze. Despite his unease, he remained silent, casting a cautious glance around the room, noticing that the others were too engaged with the plushie that they didn't notice her actions.
"Woah, there's even sushi in the bag!" As Taehyung excitedly distributed the sushi from the bag to the others, the room was filled with exclamations of delight and gratitude. The abundance of food seemed almost overwhelming, and they eagerly dug in, savoring each delicious bite.
Meanwhile, Hoseok's mind was consumed with curiosity about the generous gift. He had searched the bag for any clue as to who it was from, but to his disappointment, there was no card or note to be found. Despite his desire to express his gratitude, he found himself at a loss, unable to thank the mystery sender.
