I was aimlessly walking around the city, trying to find something nice to take pictures of. There were lots of couples walking together hand in hand, not a big surprise, it was Sunday after all. Every time a cold breeze passed the couples, they snuggled closer to each other finding some warmth. I wrapped my long coat around myself, trying to keep myself a bit warmer. My camera was hanging around my neck bouncing to my chest in every step. I watched as a young couple made their way together to the nearest bus stop. They were laughing something, and the young woman rested her head on the man's shoulder. It reminded me of our first kiss. And at that moment I wished, that the couple in the bus-stop would be us.

It was a bit chilly day. We were sitting on a bus-stop near the park's playground, waiting for your bus to arrive. You snuggled closer to me, complaining that you were cold. I felt how my ears were turning red. I never got used to it that you were so close to me. You were fiddling you fingers. The coldness caused your hands to be red and cold. And unconsciously I took your hands in mine. And just like that our fingers were inverted. You were surprised but gave me a thankful smile. I don't know if your checks were tinted pink because of the weather or because of my sudden action. But at least I know that mine were red as tomato because of you being so close to me. "You should wear gloves. It's getting colder now days" I nagged. "What are you? My mom?" You scoffed, and I played like I was hurt by you comment "Well don't complain to me when you are old and your bones are aching because of the cold!" "Fine mom. Next time I'll wear gloves" You commented snickering. I glared at you playfully "You better be". Your lips started twitching. We both tried to contain our laughs but failed. After calming our laughter down you rested you head on my shoulder and a comfortable silence surrounded us. I watched cars passing us by. I tried to catch every driver and passengers' expressions, thinking where they were heading and why. You sat up straight and started to swing your legs beck and forth. "Jackson broke up with me" You said it like that. So casually, like your brake up didn't affect you at all. I looked at you studying your expression. "Why?" You just shrugged "We just didn't work out anymore. I think it was pointless relationship anyways. We both wanted different thing from it" I nodded understanding your situation. I watched as the wind whirled your hair around your face. The blue color in your hair was now fading away, exposing your natural brown roots. Some people might think that it seemed ugly to let your hair color fade away like that, but I taught that it made you look more natural. More beautiful. "So, how are you feeling?" You were silent for a second. Your lips were curved in a sad smile. "I think it's better this way" I nodded again. Neither of us knew what to say so we just kept quiet. Then you looked at me. You came closer to my face. Your eyes were holding so many emotions at once. They were sparkling. They were sad, yet so happy. I can't even explain how beautiful you looked at that moment. Your bare face, your tired eyes, your damaged hair. And the most beautiful thing; your smile. To me you were the most perfect, yet so imperfect person I've ever met. Maybe that made you so special. "I'm sorry" You caught me of the guard "For what?" We were lost in each other's eyes, just looking at each other, not caring about the surroundings. Our lips were only few centimeters apart "For this" You whispered. And before I could answer your lips brushed against mine. It was a quick peck, yet it held so many unspoken words. I looked at you surprised. "Wheein..." You cut my sentence by putting your finger on top of my lips. You shook your head and smiled. I was feeling mixed emotions from all the way from sadness to joy. And without a second thought I kissed you. Our lips were moving in sync. The kiss wasn't passionate it was more delicate, and more like shy. After a while parted our lips slowly, staring at each other's eyes. I was smiling like crazy. Your face and tips of your ears were crimson red, and this time I knew it was because of me.
