I paid for my fake medical certificate and used it. I just thought that they wouldn't let me hike if I show them the original one. I didn't think about the consequences, I just want to try trekking. I don't want my condition to interfere with my plans. Come on, I should reach Mount Pulag's summit!

The whole trek was extremely exhausting. I was fine at first, but when we reach the grassland, my breathing problem kicks in. I can feel my muscles twitching. I know I'm starting to lose control over my muscle movements again. I even dropped my DSLR because my hands feel weak.

I'm glad that Silverio didn't ask much after that. She knows I'm not in the mood to feed her curiosity.

The way up to the summit was hard for me but I tried my best to ignore my annoying motor neurons. I know my limbs are weak as of the moment but I was too determined to ascend, so I continued climbing. As soon as I reached the peak, I feel like all my worries faded away.

I can now freely breathe. My muscles aren't twitching. I feel like I'm back to normal again. My heart began to throb and my tears unconsciously fell down as the stunning view welcomed me.

The sky generously opened up, the darkness gives way to the reddish and orangey light of the sun. Everyone was in awe, nobody even dared to speak. Our eyes are filled with amazement as the clouds stretched between peaks, covering every inch of green in the surroundings. Yes, this is the sea of clouds everybody is talking about.

The show did not end here, it was just about to start. The warmth of the sunrays brings back all the energy that we've lost during the hike. It's like a healing place. When you're up here, it feels like you don't want to climb down anymore.

Umupo ako sa madamong lupa at dinaluhan naman ako ni Silverio. The others did the same but some remain standing. Silverio seems to notice my teary eyes so I quickly wiped it using the back of my hand. I just smiled at her, erasing whatever stupid reasons she's thinking. Then seconds later, siya naman ang umiyak.

"Nakakahawa ka naman, e. Naiyak na rin tuloy ako. Parang gusto kong humiga sa mga clouds. Ang ganda talaga rito, Toni." Sobbing, she muttered while intently staring at the view.
