We left Galakwakan Hill at 9 pm and arrived in Manila at 1 am. I brought my 2 camping bags, both were new. The one was for my things and the other was for Silverio'sーwhich is supposed to be for my things but shit happens.
Fun fact, that woman only cared for herself. She's carrying her light backpack, containing her valuable things. She put some of her stuff in my other camping bag, occupying almost the whole damn bag. Good thing, I'm a gentleman kaya ako pa rin ang nagbitbit.
We bought all of our stuff at the mall yesterday. We made sure that we have all the things that we'll be needing. Nasanay kasi akong hinahanda ko lahat ng kailangan ko bago ako umalis at pumunta sa isang lugar. I'm not like Silverio na sumusugodagadsagiyerakahit hindi handa. You know what I mean.
We're just a joiner on this trip and I can tell that these guys were amazing. They are nice and fun to talk to. Daniella said that she owns this van. And the organizer that I talked to was her brother. Most of the guys here were her friends, except for me, Silverio, and the two dudes at the back. Four girls and six lads. We are ten in total, including the driver who turned out to be Daniella's boyfriend.
I was expecting this trip to Benguet to be peaceful, but it was the other way around. I thought they would be sleeping so they have the energy for the trek, but I was wrong! Ang ingay nila! Their music inside this van was too loud. I'm fucking sleepy!
Even Silverio who's seating beside me on the third row seems annoyed, covering her ears with a pillow. Nakaharap siya sa bintana ng sasakyan, her back was facing me. Kanina pa siya tahimik.
I badly wanted to tell them to lessen the volume of the music or change it, but I don't want to sound rude. We're just a joiner and I think pwede naman kaming bumawi sa pagtulog kapag nasa Kabayan, Benguet na kami. They said there's homestay there.
"Toni, I was wondering. Ilang taon ka na?" Daniella asked who's in front beside the driver, Dereck, her boyfriend.
"Twenty," I responded as I glanced at Silverio then face the ladies again.
