“So Ms. Chavez hanggat maaari ay wag na po muna kayo lumabas ng bahay for 1 week dahil iimbestigahan pa namin si Mr. Monteveros.” anang detective nang makarating kami sa prisinto, it wasn't really my idea to report him but then the Guidance Councilor hesitate.

Kasama ko ngayon si Axel habang si Joshua naman ay nasa Investigation Room.

“Pero Sir, ako yung totoong victim pero hindi naman ako magsasampa ng kaso.” I tapped the table out of frustration, pero pinaupo lang ulit ako ni Axel, i look at him at umiiling lang siya means 'hayaan mo na sila'.

Inis akong tumayo at naglakad paalis.

“Hey...” hinabol niya ako hanggang sa makalabas ng building. Hinarang niya ang dadaanan ko. Inis akong tumingin sa kaniya, alam kong wala akong ganang mainis pero period is coming.

“What!?” Inis kong tanong.

“It's for your own good sis.” he said calmly with his girly tone.

Naawa parin ako sa ano mang mangyari kay Joshua, i know what he did was bad. But masisira ang future niya, i know deep down Joshua still have a good side.

Pumikit ako to ease the irritation, “Ewan, uuwi nalang ako. I'll think about that later when i get home.”

“Okay I'll ride you home.” nauna na siyang pumunta sa sasakyan niya. Iniwan ko kasi yung aken doon sa parking lot ng school namin, it's safe tho may guard naman roon.

Tahimik lang kami buong byahe hanggang sa makauwi ako ng bahay. Pagkapasok ko nadatnan ko si Dad na nanonood ng News TV. He still prolly didn't know about what happen a while ago, and I'm not planning to tell him.

“Dad can i ask you something?” i asked nang may naalala ako.

Binaling niya ang paningin niya sa akin, confused on what I'll ask. “What is it?”

“You know their relationship?” pertaining to Mia and Sapphira.

His eyes held so much confusion siguro hindi niya nagets ang tanong ko, “What relation?” binaling niya ulit ang paningin sa TV.

“Mia and Sapphira...”

I saw him stilled after i mention their names.

“W-what about them?” he asked back still not looking at me.

Bumuntong hininga ako, “Dad please, don't lie... ” i tried to calm down.

“Okay, the reason why i didn't let you be with that Sapphira is because she's in a relationship with your Ate Mia before. I once saw them in a restaurant nearby, i saw how happy they were. And after 2 years i saw her again with you. And I saw how sad and unhappy Mia's eyes were when she saw the two of you togetger. And I told Sapphira to leave you, without any notice or I will not let her see you again. And it was better for both of you to seperate dahil baka malaman ng mga friends and business partners ko...”

NAKAHIGA na ako sa higaan ko, stairing lowly at the ceiling. I felt so empty while stairing at it.

How thoughtful dad is. I can't blame him tho, it's for everyones own good. I should move forward, it's in the past now. I'm finally at ease knowing the real reason. But why do I still feel empty.

Napaigtad ako sa gulat ng magvibrate ang phone ko beside me. I look at who's calling.

Axel calling....

“Hello?”

"Uy! Okay ka na?” he sounds worried. Napangiti ako, atlast may nag aalala parin pala sa akin.
