I honestly didn't know what to do lol. This might be cliche but IDK I haven't written on this in a while and I want to do something so I thought of this lol.

There he is. What do I say? What do I do? I like him and he's on shift. What do I do? Maybe if I just tell him... No, you dumbass he doesn't even know you. I looked across the table to the counter. He smiled warmly at the girl and gave her her order. I stared at him. I feel like a stalker. I see his eyes glance at me and I quickly turn my head. "Shit..." I mumbled. The door ringed and I instantly knew my savior was here to save me from this awkward situation. "Heyy Hansennn!" Jared yelled, sitting in front of me. I take back the savior part. "Thank god Jared." I sighed in relief. "What? Did you miss me?" Jared said. I rolled my eyes while Jared laughed. I glanced over at the worker and watched him do his order. He flipped his hair out of his face while he pumped caramel sauce into someone's cup. He's adorable. I can tell he's a bit aggressive though.

"Thanks a bunch." The person with the coffee said. He nodded as a response. "What're you staring at? You look like you just got an Xbox 360 for Christmas." Jared said. "O-oh nothing," I said blushing and whipping my head to the window. "It's 'nothing' when you stutter like that. What is it? Tell me," Jared whined. I shook my head no. I'm not just gonna say that I like this dude that I know nothing about. He would call me stupid, and I know it's true. Jared sighed, leaning his head back. "Let me guess... Hm... you like him?" Jared said after a moment. I didn't say anything. Of course, he was gonna get it right. He is my family friend after all. The only friend I have. I nodded after a while. He slammed his fist on the table and yelled "YES!" Which startled everyone in the coffee shop. "Now you gotta do me a favor," Jared said.

"We never agreed to that," I said. "Too late. You gotta order us something." Jared said. "I'm not doing that," I said quietly. "It's the deal. Or else, I'll tell him you like him." Jared said. "Ugh fine... What do you want?" I asked Jared. I'm getting him back for this, that little bastard. "Just get me a black coffee," Jared said. I got up slowly, thoughts swarming in my head. "Mkay, what can I get for you?" The man said. I didn't realize I was already at the counter. "O-oh um... I was wondering if I could get a Black Coffee?" This gives me anxiety writing this I asked. That sounded stupid. I could feel myself blush at the fact I'm just saying words. "Coming right up." The guy said. I stayed at the other side of the counter where you get the coffee at. "Here you go, have a nice day." He smiled. I blushed and took the coffee. "U-uh, you too," I said quietly. I quickly scurried back to the table to be handed a piece of paper.

"What's this?" I ask him, handing him his coffee. "It's a list of dares I want you to do while you're here throughout the week. "Like hell, I'm going to do these," I said. "I promise something good will happen. I'll give you 200 dollars." Jared said. I finally decided to read them.

I stared at the last few ones, which was... beyond. "Jared... I'm not doing these." I said. "Yes, you are! I swear something good will come out of it!" Jared said. I kept declining but he went on and kept begging. I finally gave in and said fine. His face lit up. "Well, then Hansen, I'll see you tomorrow," Jared said leaving the shop. I left too, knowing these weeks are going to be hell for me.

Okay, day number one. If Jared comes in I'll just pretend I don't know and not do them. Next thing I know Jared comes through the door. "Don't pretend you forgot," Jared said sitting down. "What do you mean?" I said nervously. Shit. "It's just making conversation, it's not like asking him to have sex... shit I should've added that," Jared said. I sighed. "C'mon now. The faster you do it the faster you can get it over with." Jared said, sipping his coffee. As I did last time, I got up slowly and walked over to the counter. "Hello, what can I get you today?" He said smiling, moving his hair out of his face. "Just an Iced Coffee with two pumps of caramel," I said. He nodded. As he walked away I got a glimpse of his name tag. Connor.  It read. That's a cute name. "So how was your day?" I said. It seems like I have more confidence than the day before.
