"he did what?!" john b shouted, his jaw dropping too, the same way kies did when she found out.

"that's exactly what i thought!" kie groaned

it was a little later in the day now and both pope a john b we're now also at the wreck with kie and avani.

"i honestly thought you two were endgame" pope shrugged, taking a seat at an empty table.

"okay we weren't even dating- so like, why's the big deal" avani shrugged, trying her hardest to erase the thought and sight out of her mind, but anything she did couldn't stop her from thinking about it.

she would always cover her emotions by smiling, joking or something, just like JJ would. the two were so alike and exactly what they needed, that's what confused everybody the most why he would lose it all on purpose

kie, pope and john b turned to look at eachother, then seeing avani with her head in her hands against the counter.

"you like him, didn't you?" john b asked, placing his hand around her shoulders

"okay maybe- but can we stop talking about this, please?" she begged

"okay fine- oh no" kie mumbled

"what?" avani asked, looking up and following the direction kie was looking, spotting JJ outside getting out of kamris car.

"for fucks sakes" she growled

"hey guys!" he smiled, walking past everyone who glared at him, taking a seat next to pope.

the friends all glared at him until he spoke, which he couldn't. so john b did

"are you fucking insane or something JJ?" john b glared

avani left the restaurant, exiting to the bathroom in the back, slamming closed the stall door,sliding down the door as her head dropped to her hands.

the tears streamed from her eyes as she choked on her sobs. she could never have a good thing with a guy ever. someone or something would fuck it all over whenever they had a good thing going, losing it all at once.

back in the restaurant that was closed due to the storm, the four pogues sat around one table, kie, pope and john b shouting and interrogating JJ at his sudden mistakes.

"what the fuck JJ!" kie started, JJs face dropping as he knew what was coming, but knowing he deserved it.

"you basically cheated on avani with kamri!? are you kidding me! i know y'all weren't officially dating- well you best believe you won't be now! dumbass" pope scoffed

"bro, your lucky if she even speaks to you again. that's low. i'm sorry dude but i gotta say it. you fucked up big time with this one. she was perfect for you bro!" john b said, his voice lowering as he finished his sentence.

"i get it okay! i fucked up! i'm not gonna hear the end of it! i can't get it out of my head either" he sighed

"then why did you do it, JJ?" kiara asked
