CHAPTER NINE.

avani grunted as she rolled over on the bed, her back aching and head pounding from a terrible nights sleep.

she rubbed her eyes, attempting to move but feeling the arm around her waist grip tighter and snuggle closer to her back.

she turned her head to see JJ beside her, the boy in a deep sleep due to the small amount of drool that escaped his mouth as he let out soft snores. she smiled at the boy, admiring his beautiful face, examining the scars and scratches that covered him, truely looking peaceful as he slept.

she heard him grunt as he cleared his throat, starting to awaken from his peaceful slumber, making her lay back down so she didn't catch him staring.

"morning sunshine" she giggled as she turned over to face him, feeling his grip soften around her waist

"morning mamas" he smirked, his morning voice clear which made avanis stomach full of butterflies because of how much more attractive it made him.

"you know, i wasn't expecting this to be the way to wake up next to you" the boy groaned as he threw off the blankets that lay over the pair.

"you just couldn't help yourself, could you" she giggled, her eyes going wide as he turned around, her getting a full view of his tanned, toned body that stood ahead of her.

"your drooling, avani" he joked

"you wish, don't flatter yourself" she teased as she got up, walking past him and leaving the bedroom.

"my shirt? that's hot" he smirked as he snaked his arm around her waist, leaving her to only laugh before walking away once again, outside to her car.

"leaving so soon?" the boy joked

"don't cry just yet, JJ. i'm only getting my stuff" she said as he stood against the doorframe on the porch, watching the girl grab her backpack from the backseat, staring at her ass that slightly showed as his shirt she wore rode up as she climbed in her car.

"stop staring, maybank" she said, turning around to see the boys face become red as she giggled, walking past him to change in the bathroom.

"can i join you?" he asked playfully as he knocked on the door.

"no, jj stop annoying me" she whined, opening the door only for him to stumble towards her as he leaned against the other side of it.

avanis breath hitches in her throat as their faces were only inches apart, her waiting for him to make his move, or she would because there was nothing better to do in this situation.

just as JJ leaned in to kiss her, they were interrupted by popes voice coming from the front door
"hey- yo- come on out we got the drone working!"

the two awkwardly pulled away from each other, JJ clearing his throat as she got back to whatever she was doing.

"yeah bro, just a sec" he said, running a hand through his hair, walking away to the back room where they had just left, which was basically JJs bedroom, to get some clean clothes to change into instead of walking around in his underwear.
