later that night, kie and pope picked up JJ and avani from avanis dock, the four searching for john b
as they arrived at tannyhill
"so what now, we go up to the from door and ask 'hey have you seen john b?" JJ asked
"yeah i don't think it's such a good idea, kie." avani mumbled
"he lives at tannyhill now! it's plausible?!" she said
"we can play dumb" avani joked
"play dumb?" JJ repeated shaking his head in confusion as he turned around.
"look i've never seen john b like that. honestly we should be going to the cops!" kie said
"the cops? and say what kie? we're worried about our friend who's gone off on a rampage because ward cameron killed big john- they're not gonna believe us!" JJ said, throwing his arms in the air.
"hey i see ward" pope said, looking through his binoculars as everyone argued.
"he looks pretty alive to me! okay let's go home" pope shrugged, passing kie the binoculars and sitting down.
"what?" kie asked in shock
avani stood next to JJ, stealing his red hat and putting on her head, only for him to take it back causing her to whine.
"no stop- i swear i'll throw you into the water" JJ said, grabbing his hat back once again.
"you wouldn't dare" she warned
"i will- watch me" he said, picking her up off her feet making her squeal
"no no no out me down! put me down" she whined, when he did so, she stole his hat again and sat back down, him glaring at her.
"look i have the biggest, most important moment of my life in six hours!" pope defended.
"yeah, well our friend is in trouble!" kie said
"i'm in trouble. i haven't been home in three days- my dads prolly got all my shit on the street by now!" pope said
"so that's it? in a time of need your just gonna walk away?" kie shouted
"guys c'mon, can we not do this right now?" JJ sighed
"i have a scholarship interview in the morning, i can't-" pope said, kie cutting him off
"okay but what about john b?"
"why's everything always about john b!" pope shouted
"it's not always about him, it would be any of you guys in this situation!" kie argued
"oh bullshit!" pope shouted
"guys keep it down!" JJ grumbled
"this is about friendship! pogues for life?!" kie shouted
"well what about forensic pathology?" pope asked
