Once there were a group of friends from Texas who wanted to go to all go to the movies that weekend. Their names were Paul, Alyssa, Kathryn, Kasi, Lucia, Rachel, Morgen, and Whitney. As usual they would get their hopes up as they browsed the theater options on movies; however, nothing was showing except political arguments or vampire dramas.

"I don't believe in such things!" Paul spat. Paul was the lone guy in the entire group of girls. He was a tall slender boy who had deep brown eyes. He had black hair that was long enough to go down his neck but it was short enough in the front to not cover his eyes. He was very smart when it came to history or knowledge over old western movies. Despite his lack of guy friends he never felt weird or awkward around the others. He had a special place in his heart for his friends because they had been with him through thick and thin.

"We can go to the carnival." Alyssa suggested. Alyssa was a twin, whose sister was the popular girl at school. Alyssa was fairly short for her age and she had long light brown hair. Unlike her sister she never wore makeup which gave her a plain look that she liked. Alyssa was the fun and energetic type. Although a little mischievous she was always the one up for a good time. She was one that could easily slip through the groups in high school and fit in almost anywhere. She had many friends from many different backgrounds and for this it made her an interesting person.

"Eww no," said Kathryn, "I found a rat in my pizza last time." Kathryn was always the thoughtful one. Kathryn had short brown hair. She often liked to dye her hair exotic colors and wear think plastic bracelets to express herself. She could read any situation and know how serious or fun she needed to be in order for things to run smoothly. Because of this it was hard for everyone to tell what she herself was feeling about other situations, but everyone loved having her around anyway.

"Well what should we do?" asked Kasi. Kasi was indeed the pretty, fun, and optimistic girl in the group. She had long curly brown hair that reached the middle of her back. She also had big brown eyes that reeled you in. It was never hard for her to find a boyfriend, but it was hard for her to keep one around. It never seemed to be out of fault of her, but usually out of the guy she was dating. She could always find a way to pick out the worst of the bunch when it came to dating. She was grateful that her friends stood by her side throughout it all.

"We could go bowling." Lucia shrugged. Lucia was the realistic one in the group. Lucia had long black hair and brown eyes. Yes she did have fun like the rest of them, but she would be the first to set someone straight if they were kidding themselves. For this the group was grateful. Throughout the fun they needed someone to remind them how loud or annoying they were being before they got kick out of Clear Springs before their onion rings came.

"I broke my foot there! No!" Rachel exclaimed. Rachel was the only blonde girl with blue eyes in the group and she was from Seattle.  Rachel was always known for being the shy one. In junior high she never really talked or acted interested in any of the activities her friends were doing. However, now that she started high school she has started to break out of her little shell bit by bit and  start to show her true energetic side.

"Just pick something!" Morgen whined. Morgen was a tiny girl who also was slowly breaking out of her shell.  She had long light brown hair and wore glasses. She usually wore shirts that expressed the she loved most... the internet. She was the internet/anime/manga/anything related to internet wiz of the group. She dated Paul for a little bit however that relationship came to an end earlier that year. Luckily the breakup didn't change the fact that they all got to hang out and not be too awkward about it.

"We could," Whitney started, "go get a snow cone." Whitney was always the voice of reason.  She too had long black hair and brown eyes and often wore plain t shirts and jeans unlike the other girls in her group. Whenever anyone got too loud and crazy or too sad and rude Whitney always gave them, in her mind, the best advice she could. Often times they never listened to her anyway but she felt good that she could help her friends in that way.

"It's freezing outside! Why would we want a snow cone?" Paul asked.

"Well it was just an idea Paul. Do I see you with any better ones other than to watch nonstop military channel all day?" Whitney snapped back.

"Hey westerns are good and entertaining which is more that I can say about this afternoon!" He hissed.

While everyone argued they didn't notice a white van pull up to the curb of the theater. It parked a few feet in front of them and remained parked silently waiting.

"Why don't we just go home then?!" Lucia yelled. "I'm sure I have homework I should be doing anyway, rather than just sitting here being bored."

"So we came all the way out here for nothing?" Whitney asked, "I was really excited to hang out with y'all."

"Seems like it, sorry." Kathryn shrugged.

"This was so stupid! I just wanted to watch a good movie!" Kasi exclaimed.

Suddenly people in white suits came out of the parked van. One by one the friends were being abducted and put into restraints before they could even yell. All too quickly they were trapped inside the vehicle.

Once everyone realized what happened they started shouting and yelling at the strange people.

"What the crap?!" "Let us go!" "Don't kill me!"

Then they turned violent and started kicking and throwing punches. Paul even pulled out his switch blade he carried in his pocket and attempted to attack his abductors. The people in white quickly put on a mask and grabbed strange tubes that started spraying smoke at the teens. They stopped moving and looked at each other awkwardly. Soon they all fell down on top of each other and darkness swept through their minds.
