As time goes on, more artifacts are found, more skirmishes by the Slayer himself. Mercy, who seems busy collecting the Slayer's Data, came to realize that the Slayer need to remember the one thing that drives him into this madness. During their battles, Mercy realize in the Slayer's belt pouch, using her x-ray vision, contains a forgotten memory, in which the Slayer hasn't taken it out yet; this sparks an opportunity when the Autobots venture into a deep energon mine.
The Slayer has been guarding the entrance of this deep mine for sometime, till the arrival of the Autobots. Mercy was the first to attack, telling the Autobots to take as much energon as possible as she is holding him off. The Slayer and Mercy made a small talk before they fight:
Slayer: Now your Starting to piss me off.
Mercy: You have to remember who you were, before you became this monster!
Slayer: I already know who I am; I AM THE SLAYER!
The Slayer charges towards Mercy with a hail of bullets, Plasma and rockets. Mercy, on the other hand, tries to get close to the Slayer and take something out of his Belt pouch. Before long, Mercy got her wish, but not what she has hoped for. The Slayer grabs Mercy by her neck, lifting her up and starts monologuing:
Slayer: You were nothing, you are but a false idol, someone to look up to *punches her in the chest*, only for them to fail, *punches her again* because of you *Punches her abdomen*. You Shall die *extends arm blade* like the Demons who wronged me!
Before he could Strike, Mercy, already grabbed something from his belt pouch, puts her hand on the Slayer's arm, restraining it for sometime. She tells the Slayer something that would change his mind:
Mercy: What about the ones you cared for!
Slayer: What are you talking about! I have no one to care for!
Mercy: But you do *shows him 3 Holo pics and several tags* these are people you cared for; your commrads, you loving pet and family. Their deaths are the reason you're like this and it was Megatron, who'd did this. *Let go of the restraint* * places her hand on the side of the Slayer's face* Remember who you were and who did you fight for!
The Slayer is in a trance and all of the sudden his memories came back to him, one by one Mercy felt her restraints are getting weaker. The Slayer, after waking from the trance takes the things out of Mercy's hand and let go of her. He speaks in a cold voice:
Slayer: *looks at the things* what have I done!
He put the things in his pouch and suddenly red and blue electricity was formed around him, his eyes turned in to a crimson red and his visor displays red markings above his eyes; giving the Slayer an angered expression as he says his words:
Slayer: Megatron. Shall. Fall!
A red portal formed behind him, leaving the scene and leaving others, except Mercy, speechless.
