Kishi's POV

"Everyone! Homeroom is about to begin! Stop talking and take your seats!" Iida announces, chopping the air robotically.

"Uh, we're already sitting."

"Yeah, you're the only one standing!"

"Damn it..." Iida curses, plopping into his seat, two desks in front of me.

"Don't sweat it!" Uraraka says from right behind him.

"Hmm, I wonder who's going to be our teacher today," Taiki mumbles.

I also wonder. "Same, there's no way Aizawa's gonna be here-" Then I looked toward the door and saw a mummy with an Aizawa wig on it. Oh wait, it is Aizawa.

"Morning."

"Mr. Aizawa, you're back too soon!"

"Sensei! It is good to see that you are doing okay!" Iida greets him.

That's okay?

"Mr. Aizawa, shouldn't you be resting?" Tsu asks.

"My well-being is irrelevant. Besides, your fight isn't over," he responds, stirring tension in us. He doesn't mean-

"The U.A. Sports Festival is coming up."

"..."

"A NORMAL SCHOOL EVENT!" we all cheer.

"Wait a minute!" Kaminari shouts.

"Is it really okay to have the festival right after the villain attack?" Jiro questions.

"Yeah, what if they try to attack again?" Ojiro adds.

"Apparently, they think that holding the Sports Festival shows that we have good crisis management system. The security will also be strengthened five times of that of past years. Besides, it's a big chance for you, and it's not to be canceled by a few villains." he monotonously responds.

"But why? It's just a sports festival, isn't it?" Mineta inquires.

"Mineta, have you never seen the Sports Festival?" Midoriya gasps.

"Of course I have! I just don't want to be murdered!" Mineta screechs.

Aizawa continues, "Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events. The Olympics used to be a big event, but now, due to reduction in scale and population, it's only a mere shadow of what it used to be. If you want competition, there's only one event that matters. The U.A. Sports Festival."

"Of course, top heroes all across the country are watching for scouting purposes too." Yaoyorozu points out.

"I know that!" Mineta pouts.

"She's right though, most people after they graduate sign into pro agencies as a sidekick!" Kaminari adds.

"Well yeah, but that's as far as some people go. They miss the chance to go independent. Actually, that's probably where you're headed." Jiro says.

I chuckle at Kaminari's reaction.

"It's true that you have a better chance of success in experience and popularity when you sign at an agency." Aizawa starts. "One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime. No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival, so you better not slack off in training."

Dad had talked to me about this earlier. He gave me a challenge.

"Get to the top 14, or else no more binging until after final exams." Dad smirked.
