[11] Who Will Win?

3rd Person POV

"Come and get me!"

Todoroki nodded, surrounding himself in ice, then sending more ice at Kishi.

Kishi melts the ice with her fire, before accelerating toward Todoroki.

Up in the stands, their classmates watch the fight take a turn.

"Wow, I wonder what Todoroki said that made Hanryoku this angry," Midoriya ponders.

"Fire is the result of her anger? I guess that makes sense. But now the frost on Todoroki is melting from her attacks," Uraraka notices.

Down in the battlefield, Kishi was attempting to take the fight into close quarters, trying to land a few punches on Todoroki, which were narrowly dodged. Todoroki grabbed Kishi's flaming arm, trying to ice it. Kishi yanked her arm away, melting the ice.

Neither of their attacks were very effective on their current states.

"Wow! They're almost evenly matched!" Present Mic gapes.

After another minute of fighting, Kishi's hands started to slightly sting. Damn! I can't use fire as long because I haven't trained it enough, I have to finish this quickly.

Todoroki notices that her attacks were weaker, and tried to take advantage of that. He decided to go for a low kick, however, Kishi backflips away in time.

Kishi remains a few feet away from Todoroki, panting slightly as she felt small burn marks appear on her arms and hands.

"You're slowing down," Todoroki states blankly.

Kishi sees that the frost previously covering his body had been melted by her attacks. Crap...I didn't think about it replenishing him.

Todoroki sends a larger wave of ice her way. Kishi's eyes widen at the size of the wave. Shit, what do I do?!

Her emotions change under pressure, causing her fire to disappear. Kishi scowls, determined to get back at Todoroki for what he said.

Kishi's anger and desire returns as she melts all of the ice with one gust of fire. She then shouts, "I'M GONNA WIN, NO MATTER WHAT!"

The ice had melted into water, and Kishi, drived by her determination to win, sent a tremendous amount of energy into the ice, electricating Todoroki.

Todoroki grunts in pain as he is shocked. Once the electricity dissipated, he weakly fell to his knees, panting slightly. Kishi walks toward him, electricity surrounding her, and holds out a threatening hand while also panting. She glances around. Good, we're closer to the boundary line, she thinks.

They stay in this position for a few seconds.

"Woah! Is Todoroki down?!" Present Mic wonders.

Suddenly, Todoroki lunges up at Kishi, freezing her arms and attempting to pin her down.

Kishi's reflexes kick in, swiping to knock Todoroki off his feet, before shocking him again. She then turned Todoroki so his back was facing her and attempts to kick him out of bounds, a surge of energy supporting her attack.

Todoroki tumbled toward the boundary line, before making an ice wall to stop himself from rolling out.

"Won't give up, huh," Kishi says, walking toward him tiredly.

He looks up at Kishi menacingly. She's as beaten up as I am. I can probably deliver the final blow now.

Todoroki took a few seconds to get up, before building up ice near his feet and directing it at her, this wave being as large as the one he used against Sero. However, Kishi easily noticed that the wave was coming ever-so-slightly slower from him being electrocuted.
