(In The Viewing Room)
3rd Person POV
Isoki and Kishi made their way to the viewing room.
"That's why I came here for reference."
"Ochaco! Midoriya!" Kishi greets.
"Hey Kishi, Isoki! What are you two doing here?" Uraraka asks.
"Actually, same as you," Isoki answers.
"Ah, right, Elementist," Midoriya says. Kishi felt her guts swelling up again.
I must be more nervous than I thought. I mean, if I lose, Dad could take away my binging privileges, or worse...
WiFi privileges.
Kishi shudders at the nightmares from slacking in training. Her dad was who she had trained most with, anyways. "Yeah...I haven't really been this nervous in a while, to be honest," she admits.
"Team Satou and Kirishima, practical exam. Ready, go!"
Kirishima and Satou take a frontal approach to Cementoss, who was continuously making cement walls sprout from the concrete. The two hardily break through the first walls.
"You can do it, Kirishima and Satou!" Uraraka cheers.
"They won't win at this rate," Midoriya states.
"I've been thinking the same thing," Isoki agrees.
"Eh? How? They seem like they could—oh wait," Kishi realizes. Both of their quirks aren't made to stay up like this forever.
"Kirishima's and Satou's quirks are amazing, but they have a limit to their use. I don't think Cementoss has that type of limitation," Midoriya explains.
"It's a race against time for them..." Kishi finishes.
"No way..." Uraraka murmurs.
"The teachers definitely thought about this," Isoki adds.
"And put everyone against people they'd struggle against on purpose," Midoriya notices.
"So we have to deal with our weaknesses too. No wonder my dad wanted to be a part of this," Kishi notes. "How did he even know about the exams?"
Did he read the class syllabus without me knowing? No, wait, this was a sudden change. Maybe the staff notified my dad.
"That's exactly right," Recovery Girl says. "So while you have the time, think about your compatibility with your opponent."
Kishi nods before turning back to the screen thoughtfully. Kirishima and Satou were noticeably slowing down.
Damn it, they really did think carefully about this. And I have many drawbacks to my quirk, Dad's well-aware of that.
"Team Satou and Kirishima are both defeated due to both members losing consciousness."
Kishi snaps out of her thoughts from the sudden announcement. "Already?"
"Dearie me, it's only the first match and I'm already needed," Recovery Girl tuts, getting out of her seat.
"It was that one-sided..." Uraraka gasps.
"This was too bad of a matchup for them," Midoriya adds.
"Gosh...I'm really gonna hate this," Kishi shudders.
"Team Asui and Tokoyami, practical exam. Ready, go!"
As soon as those words were heard, multiple Ectoplasm clones appeared, completely surrounding the examinees.
