[8] Fighting Start

Kaminari swooped in to attack first, ready to discharge everything he had.

Kishi waited, but realized something...she felt too determined, and now she was using the wrong element. Crap! I have to think quick...plan B! she thinks.

She tried keeping her mind cocky, praying that her plan would work.

"Indiscriminate shock...1.3 million volts!" Kaminari says, discharging all he had toward Kishi.

Kishi closea her eyes and waited for results.

"What's this?! All of the electricity that was gushing out of Kaminari—it all froze in place!" Present Mic awea.

"Hell yeah...it worked," Kishi murmura, a smirk on her face. She quickly aims it back toward Kaminari, shocking himself with his own electricity, before letting her pride and relief flow over her, shooting vines out of the ground and trapping Kaminari, who had become braindead, above the concrete.

"The winner's been decided in a mere instant! An instant!" Present Mic exclaims.

"Kaminari is immobilized! Hanryoku advances onto the next round!" Midnight announces, causing Kishi to exhale.

The crowd cheered for her quick win, and she waved back into the crowd with a proud smile before walking off the battlefield, as Kaminari was being wheeled off, braindead with a weird expression on his face.

"Hey guys! I'm back!" Kishi greets, walking back into the class seating area.

"Hey! Congrats on your win, Kishi," Uraraka says.

"Yeah, you really did a number on Kaminari," Asui points out.

"Awe, thanks girls," Kishi says, sitting down, looking around. "Did Isoki already leave to go to the waiting room?"

"Yeah, he left a bit ago," Midoriya chimes into the conversation. "Congrats on your win by the way, Hanryoku."

"Thanks!"

"Speaking of which, it's time to see who your opponent will be," Uraraka mentions.

"Oh, you're right," Kishi notices, turning her attention to the battlefield.

"And now it's time for the fourth match! We're just going to keep rolling along! Rush straight head forward to the top!" Present Mic informs. "It's like he's the epitome of the pack! From the hero course, Iida Tenya! Verses! Fully equipped with support gadgets, from the support course, Hatsume Mei!"

"He's fighting the support course, huh?" Kishi mumbles.

"I wonder how this will turn out," Asui wonders.

Then, Iida put on some gear as well. "Iida's also fully equipped with support items!" Sato comments.

"That's generally against the rules for those in the hero course. Those who use equipment have to fill out a form beforehand," Midnight explains.

Iida steps back in shock. "I didn't know that! Aoyama wears a belt, so I thought it should be fine!" Iida confessed.

"He submitted the form," Midnight informs.

"My humblest apologies!" Iida says, bowing. "I was moved by my opponent's sportsmanship. She came to me and asked for an even match since she made it this far. She wanted a fair fight! So she gave me this equipment. I couldn't ignore my opponent's fighting spirit!"
