I am reminded of my first command in Dacia. Many men questioned my rank, wondering why they had to follow a Centurion so young. It took time to earn their trust, but it was necessary. I could not have even a single soldier questioning me in battle, lest our discipline fail.
Without discipline, our century's formation would crumble, and the legion would be exposed. It is the same here. These ragged men and women will not become a unit overnight, but I am patient and more experienced than I was in Dacia. I may be far from the Rome, but I know this for certain - this island will know its might.

Recuerdo mi primer comando en Dacia. Muchos hombres cuestionaron mi rango, preguntándose por qué tenían que seguir a un Centurión tan joven. Tomó tiempo ganarse su confianza, pero fue necesario. No podría tener ni un solo soldado cuestionándome en la batalla, para que nuestra disciplina no falle.
Sin disciplina, la formación de nuestro centuria se derrumbaría y la legión quedaría expuesta. Es lo mismo aquí. Estos hombres y mujeres harapientos no se convertirán en una unidad de la noche a la mañana, pero soy paciente y tengo más experiencia que en Dacia. Puedo estar lejos de Roma, pero lo sé con certeza: esta isla sabrá su poder.
