Amelia's POV

I'm glad that today is Friday (I skipped days because nothing happened)  I went downstairs my mom was in the kitchen. "Hey mom can Emma come over today?" "Yeah sure just make sure her parents are okay with it." "Okay" I texted Emma what to do and she replied with okay. "Hey mom" I heard Amber say.

"Hey honey y'all better get going you don't wanna be late." My mom said as she was gathering her stuff. Our mom is a nurse. "Okay let's go Amelia." I jumped excited because I can't wait to see my best friends.

"Are you excited to see your boyfriend?" "Well I am but that's not the reason" I told Amber "Then what's the reason?" "Emma is coming over." "Oh okay at least she's not annoying like her sister" Emily been bugging Amber to get back together with her.

"Yeah I guess" She pulled up to the school. "Bye Amber" She waves bye and then drove off.

When I walked into school people are saying hi to me as I walk down the hall. I'm kinda popular. I spot one of my closest friends Jenny. Jenny is very pretty she got  curly hair, with soft dark brown eyes, pump lips, and she got nice chocolate skin. If I was gay I would go for her.

"Hey Jen" I said hugging her "Hey Lia" "So do you wanna come to my house if Emma can't." "Yeah sure I gotta ask my mom tho." "Okay" I was about to talk again but I got interrupted by the bell. We went to our first class which is math. We got all our classes together. We only got 2 classes with Emma.

The bell rang and we went to ELA "you look distracted." Emma says as she sits beside me "I'm not and did you ask your parents?" I asked her. She nodded her head "My parents said not this weekend." She said while playing with her thumb, that's how I know she is lying. Besides her mom told my mom they have nothing to do this weekend. "Okay" I looked at Jenny she was shake her head at Emma. I saw Jake walk into the room. "Hey Jake" I said as he was near my desk. We've been dating for a couple of weeks.

"Oh hey" he said dryly and walked past me. Me and Jenny sat there confused. "Jezz did you get into a argument or something." Emma said "No were perfectly fine I think"

It's lunch time and I decided to talk to  Jake. When I got to his table I asked can we talk in private then we went in the hallway to talk. "What's up with you?" "What do you mean?" Why is he playing dumb. "You've been distant and more moody than a girl on her period." "Sorry I've been busy with my family." I don't believe his bullshit.

"Whatever" I was about to walk away when he gently grabbed my wrist and pulled me in a hug. "Don't be mad please." He said kissing my cheek. "Fine" I feel safe in his arms but not like a boyfriend but a friend but I don't wanna hurt him. "Let's go back" I said. "Okay" we went back to the cafeteria. And I tell Jenny what happened.

As me and Jenny are getting ready to wait for Amber. I see Jake and Emma making out in the corner. "So this is why you can't come today or is this what your 'busy' with." I asked them They jumped away from each other. "I can explain." Emma said "There's nothing to explain I'm breaking up with you and your not my friend anymore I trusted both of you." I felt like crying but they're not worth my tears. Jenny saw this and pulled me outside and into Amber's car.

"What happened." Amber asked "I don't wanna talk about it" "okay so I'm guessing it has something to do with Emma and Jake because they're coming over here." "Amber please just go" She zoomed off just as they got near the car. "I caught them kissing" I said quietly

Amber hit the breaks really hard causing us to lean forward. "I'm gonna kill that kid." "Amber please no" "Just tell me how you feel" "I feel like I was betrayed" "you was" "but I started liking him as a friend not a boyfriend. But he should of just talked to me and tell me that he don't wanna do this anymore instead of cheating. And then with my best friend on top of that." I let a tear roll down my cheek.

"That's something her and her sister have in common they like to do stuff that they know is going to ruin the relationship that you have with them and then they come running back like nothing happened." Amber said. I feel bad for her because Emily really broken her after she cheated on her. But I'm glad she got Jessica now.

"Okay enough of the sad stuff lets" Amber was interrupted by her phone ringing,she has a special ring tone for Jessica which is so cute. I answered for her. "Hey princess" Amber said "Hey babe what are you doing?" "I'm driving home with our child and her friend Jenny." "Oh hi Amelia and Jenny." We both said hi. "Anyway I will talk to you later." "Okay love you" "love you too" and then Jessica hung up.
