Chapter Twenty-Four

Amber's POV

Today was not my day I woke up with a headache and a 102 degree fever. I don't even know how I got sick but I hate it. Mom dropped Amelia off to school today. I was home alone Jessica said she was going to come after school.

I felt alone but I didn't mind the quiet ness. I just wanted to cuddle with someone or something so I grabbed a pillow that was nice and cold. It made me feel I little bit better.

Right now it's 2pm and I hear the door open so I look and see it's my mom. "Honey you should be resting." "I'm hungry can you make me some soup." "Yes but go lay down please" "okay" I went back to my room and laid back down.

Twenty minutes later my mom came up with the soup "Here honey be careful it's hot." I decided to let my soup cool off a little bit. "So are you gonna go back to work?" "No I told my boss that my daughter was sick and I had to take care of her now take your medicine." She said giving me two pills. "These will help for the headache"I took the pills and then decided that my soup was cool enough. It was still a little hot but I can take it.

"So how is you and Jessica?" "We're good but we have to worry about our jealous ex's." "Amelia told me what Emma did. Then she told me what happened with Emily." "Yeah Jessica told me about what happened with Emily." "Jessica is a keeper." "Yeah she is." "Okay I'm gonna let you rest." She said as she got up and kissed my cheek. Then she left. It took me 15 minutes to fall asleep.

I felt kisses all over my face so I opened my eyes to see who it is. "Hey Amby" Jessica said "Hey babe" I pulled her in for a kiss. She automatically kissed me back. "I missed you,school was horrible without you." She said pouting. I gave her a quick peck on her lips. "Please don't pout I wanna see a smile on that beautiful face." She smiled "I love you" "I love you too"

"AMBER!" Someone screamed my name which caused me and Jessica to both jump. Amelia can running in my room and jumped on my bed and hugged me. I hugged her back "Well hi to you too" "I'm sorry but I have something to tell you and Jessica." She said as she closed the door.

I sat up. "Okay so what's up" Amelia sat back on the bed. "I think I like girls. Wait no just one particular girl." She said shyly. "Amelia come here" She sat next to me and I pulled her in for a big hug. "You think gonna judge you? Me and Jessica are literally dating." "Yeah and who's the girl." Jessica said sitting on the other side of Amelia.

"Jenny" Amelia said with a smile. "Good because I think she would've been heartbroken if you liked another girl." I said. "What do you mean." Amelia asked "Amelia I know Jessica already told you but I'm gonna tell you again. Jenny looks at you with love in her eyes. She sneak glances at you when your not paying attention." I said holding her hands.

"And how do she act with everyone else." Jessica asked "She look at them in disgust or distrust." Amelia said. "Does she look at you in that way?" I asked "No she make me feel so important." She said. "Thank you for listening but I have to do my homework." She said as she left.

"Do your mom know that she's might not get grandchildren." I looked at her confused. "Because both her children is gay." She said. I held her hands "Jessica I want you to be in my future and we're going to live happy together and we're going to have kids if you want." "Of course I wanna have kids with you." She said kissing my cheek. "I love you too much to let you go." "I love you more."
