Chapter Nineteen

Amber's POV

Now it's 5 o'clock and me and Amelia are heading out to the movies theaters. When we get there it's 5:20. "Look there he is" She rolled down the window and called his name. He walked over to the car. "Hey Amelia who is this." He asked looking at me. "This is my amazing older sister." "Oh she's pretty like you, Hi nice to met you..." "Amber" "nice to met you Amber my name is Jake." "Right back at you." Silence filled the air. "So we have to go now bye Amber." "Okay text me when the movies over." "Okay" she said as she got out the car, her and Jake waved goodbye. I went to Alice's house because it was close to the movie theater.

Amelia's POV

I'm so happy right now. Me and Jake are holding hands while walking towards the popcorn and candy. We get a big bucket of popcorn to share, some candy, I get a sprite while Jake gets a slushy. We get into the theater and find our seats but it's kind of cold in here. I guess Jake noticed because he gave me his jacket. I thanked him and put my head on his shoulder.

At some point of the movie he put his arm around my shoulders. We was quietly laughing and talking during the movie. After movie was done we was just talking while waiting for Amber. "I really enjoyed my self" He said smiling at me. "Me too we should do it again." "Yeah we should." He said while kissing my cheek. I blushed hard. Then I saw Amber's car pull up. "Um do you need a ride?" "Sure" "lets go then" Amber says from the car. We get in the car and Jake direct Amber to his house. "Bye Amelia bye Amber it was nice meeting you." "Bye same thing to you Jake." Amber says "bye Jake" We watched him go inside then we went home.

"So how was your night." Amber ask in a teasing voice. "It was amazing he was such a gentleman like who could not like him." I said happily "I'm glad your happy and Jake is a nice kid but if he hurts yo-" She couldn't finish because I cut her off. "I know Amber but lets stop thinking negative." "Alright" Amber parked the car and we headed inside to our rooms after telling mom we was home.

After I take my shower, brush my teeth and get ready for bed. I hear my phone go off. I look and see it's a message from Jake and one from my best friend Emma.

Goodnight Jake Thanks for giving me a chance☺️

Then I decided to text Emma.

So how was the date?

Amelia🤗
It was amazing I'll tell you the rest tomorrow. Goodnight

I put my phone down and went to sleep and dreamed about today.
