Pagkatapos ko maidlip ay bumaba agad ako para i-finalize ang invitations kasama si Mommy at ang event organizer.

"Mommy, I want to conduct an outreach program.." bulong ko habang nag-uusap sina Mommy at si Carol ang event organizer.

Pareho silang napatigil at tinignan ako ni Mommy.

"Okay, but why so sudden?" bakas sa tono niya ang pagtataka.

"I don't know I just feel like it, tsaka every year it's the same people we see on my birthday. I want to celebrate in a new way, that can also help many people." I explained.

"Well that's very nice, I can contact our church and tell them you can volunteer for their outreach program next week." ani niya at agad hinanap ang contact sa kaniyang phone.

"No my, I don't want it to be on our church.." I said.

"Ok then, where?" at pareho na nila ako tinitigan ni Carol.

"The one they have here in Pasig. I heard it's just a small orphanage but we can--" pinutol agad ako ni Mommy.

"Absolutely not. You can do your outreach program in any orphanage, but not here." sinabi niya ng pagalit.

"Why not? It's near, it's like a twenty minute drive from here. Plus I can invite some in church to help with the organizing, my friends can help too. No need for an event organizer." I said confidently that it may have hurt Carol's feelings a little bit.

"Sorry, Carol. No offense." I faced her.

"None taken. But you have a nice idea." she supported me and I gladly smiled at her.

"No Liv, choose another orphanage." rinig mo sa tono ni Mommy ang pagiging seryoso niya.

"But my, it's already near and look--" pinutol ulit ako ni Mommy.

"Olivia Rose, kapag sinabing hindi pwede, hindi pwede." she strictly said.

"Maghanap ka ng ibang orphanage kung gusto mo matuloy yang outreach mo, pero ngayon tapusin muna natin 'tong invitations mo." utos niya at hinayaan ko nalang humupa muna ang galit niya.

What's wrong with the orphanage I chose? It's only a small one, does she like me to choose a bigger one instead? I'll just talk to Daddy later and we'll convince Mommy. 

The preparation lasted for another hour and finally we've completed the guest list. It wasn't hard choosing people, the hard part was going down to fifty people when Mommy already contacted two hundred. But like what I said, I'm more comfortable with few. 

"So Ma'am distribute na namin yung invitations tomorrow afternoon and we'll send you an email for those people who confirmed." ani ni Carol habang nililigpit ang kanyang laptop at portfolios.

"Yes okay, that's good. Anything else we need?" sagot ni Mommy.

"Wala na po, we're already good with the catering, the invites, the decor, lights and sounds, the stalls and the venue is pretty much ready." sabi ni Carol.

"Perfect. I know I can count on you Carol. Just text me when something come's up ok?" sabi ni Mommy at tumayo na silang pareho.

"Yes po Ma'am, thank you po ulit." paalam ni Carol.

"No, thank you. Ingat sa biyahe ha!" paalam din ni Mommy.

"Thank you Carol!" ani ko at kumaway.

Binuksan na ni Mang Sol ang gate at tuluyan nang lumabas ang kotse ni Carol. Leaving me and Mommy alone in the living room. Bago pa makapagsalita si Mommy ay naunahan na siya ni Daddy na pababa na ng hagdan.
