When you are born you have a mark that shows who your soulmate is. Some people spend their whole life trying to find this one person. Some people find them and some people don't. Then you have people who just don't try. For Buck it was a different story. His soul mark is above his eye. His mother called him ugly for it and his dad hit him for it. The rules of soulmates is that you can only show a person the soul mark if you think they are your soulmate. Your soul mark can't be over up with makeup or thing like that. So Buck's parents made him wear a bandage over his mark. He finds it so ugly. Even now when he has found his soulmate. Eddie is obsessed with it. He'll kiss it even if they are at work, he traces it with his fingers. Buck told Eddie a few weeks ago he hates when he does it so Eddie stopped doing it. Christopher is at a sleepover so the house is kid free. Expect Buck isn't home like Eddie wanted him to be. Buck picked up a last minute shift. It was 6 o'clock and Buck was supposed to be home now. He got off an hour ago. Yeah when they get a call close to the end of shift it usually takes longer. So Eddie turned on the news just in case. But what he saw wasn't what he wanted to see. Your soulmate carrying out bodies from a building with burns on his arms. Eddie just sat and watched. He didn't realize 30 minutes later he was still rewinding it and watch it again. Eddie was crying. He didn't realize Buck come home until Buck had took the remote from his hands and turned off the tv. Eddie looks at him. Bucks arms were covered in bandages and the top of his face where is soul mark was had a bandage. Buck cups Eddie's face whipping away tears just to be replaced by more
"Eddie" Buck says softly
Eddie looks at him
"I'm fine okay they made it look worst" Buck says and sits beside Eddie pulling him into his chest just to be pushed away
"I'll hurt you" Eddie sobs
"You will never hurt me" Buck says pulling Eddie back to his chest
Eddie touches Bucks face. Buck looks at Eddie. He starts to take the bandage off from his head
"What are you doing" Eddie asked him stoping Buck
"Eddie just let me" Buck says
"No you need that on there" Eddie tells him
"No I don't there's just a little burns and you need this more" Buck tells him
Buck removes the bandage and Eddie just looks at him. Buck grabs his hand and pulls it towards his soul mark. Only to have Eddie pull his hand away
"No I can't" Eddie says
"Eddie I'm letting you do it" Buck tells him hoping Eddie will do it
Buck actually misses when he does it and wish he would have keep his big mouth shut
"No you don't like it" Eddie says
"Actually I've come to miss you lips on it and your fingers touching" Buck tells him and Eddie sits up and little
"Really" Eddie asked
"Yes so go ahead" Buck says
Eddie starts tracing Buck's soul mark. He kisses it and his lips linger on it before he kisses Buck on the lips. Which leads in to them making out and maybe a blowjob.
