Nobody's POV
Eddie's family is coming into town for Christmas. Buck doesn't want to be home with everyone and listen to them talk about him. They come in two days. Buck is sitting in Bobby's office
"Bobby please give me a shift the next few days" Buck begs
"Buck Christmas is in 3 days" Bobby says
"Great so 5 days back to back sound good thanks" Buck says getting up
"Son where are you going" Bobby asked
"To go tell Eddie I can't make Christmas" Buck says
"What about Christopher" Bobby asked
"We talked he's okay with it" Buck explains
"Sit" Bobby tells him
Buck goes sits back down
"There is so many of them" Buck says
"What's going on" Bobby asked
"Eddie's family is coming into town in two days" Buck explains
"Are you sure it's two days" Bobby asked
"What" Buck asked confused
Bobby points to where Eddie and people that look like his family just walked into the station. There is about 10 of them already
"How many are there" Buck asked
"About 10" Bobby says
"Oh god yeah I'm not going home anytime soon" Buck says
"You can't just hide out here" Bobby tell him
"I can try" Buck says
"Buck no" Bobby says
"I'm gonna throw up" Buck says
Hen walks into the office
"Who are those people and Buck you look pale" Hen asked
"Eddie's family" Booby says
"That's least then half Hen" Buck tells her
"I'm sorry" Hen says
Buck grabs his phone and calls Maddie
"Hello" Maddie answers
"Are you at work" Buck asked
"No Buck I'm pregnant done soon I can't work" Maddie says annoyed
"Sorry so you wouldn't mind me crashing at y'all house" Buck says
"Did Eddie finally kick you out" Maddie says
"Haha no his family is in town and I can't there's to many of them" Buck explains
"Get over it y'all are getting married in 237 days you're gonna have to see them then anyways might as well get it over with" Maddie tells him
"This isn't okay Maddie" Buck says
"You'll be fine" Maddie says
"No I won't there's 10 here at the station and I want to throw up" Buck explains
The phone gets pulled from his hand. Buck turns and looks at Eddie
"Hello Maddie" Eddie says
"Hey Eddie" Maddie says cheerfully
"How is the baby" Eddie asked
"She's fine. Now will you make sure he doesn't show up at my house" Maddie tells him
"Yep" Eddie says
"Thanks Eddie I love you" Maddie says
"Love you too Mads" Eddie says and ends the call
Eddie puts Buck's phone in his pocket and looks at the three in the room
"What's going on in here" Eddie asked
"I'm gonna puke" Buck says
"Buck no you aren't" Bobby says
"Can you just give me those days I need to buy something really important" Buck lies
"You two are engaged what is so important" Hen asked
"Um" Buck says and looks at Eddie
"I need a suit for said wedding" Buck explains
"You have almost a year to get it" Bobby says
"Bobby please I'm begging you just this once do what I want. I'll watch Henry for a week so you and Athena can go to Hawaii or somewhere. I'll pay for the trip" Buck begs
Buck looks at Bobby
"How about May's college fees I'll pay those" Buck asked
"How" Bobby asked
"Tell my parents I'm going to college they'll pay it and more" Buck explains
Eddie looks at Buck then at Bobby
"Thanks Cap" Eddie says
"You're welcome Eddie" Bobby says
"No I'm your son he has 15 thousand family members that have to listen to me" Buck whines
"Is this what's it about" Eddie asked
Buck shakes his head yes
"So you just weren't gonna come to Christmas" Eddie asked
"You know I talked to Chris he was okay with it he understood why can't you understand" Buck asked
"Because our son is 10 and you are over reacting" Eddie tells him
"No I'm not" Buck says
"Buck you'll be fine and if it makes you feel any better I'll stay with you the whole time" Eddie tells him
"Nope that doesn't help" Buck whines
"While my Abuela wants to see you" Eddie says and drags Buck out the door
"Eddie Stop" Buck says trying to pull his hand away
Eddie keeps walking
"Edmundo Diaz please stop" Buck whines
Eddie looks at him and smiles
"No I love you I'll do anything I promise anything just name it" Buck begs
"Meet my family" Eddie says smirking
"Anything but that" Buck whines
Eddie laughs. They walk pass the truck and Buck grabs it
"Evan come on" Eddie says
"No" Buck yells
Eddie walks over and grabs Buck face
"Hey look at me" Eddie says
"I'm sorry I just can't it's to much" Buck explains
"I know" Eddie says
"I want to do this but big groups scare me and then you have so many family members why is there so many like I only have three people in my family why do you get 14 million" Buck explains
"Now it's millions" Eddie jokes
"Eddie not the time" Buck whines
"Sorry" Eddie says
Buck hugs Eddie
"Hey babe" Eddie say says getting Buck's attention
"Yeah" Buck whispers
"When does your shift in" Eddie asked
"It ended an hour ago when I walked into that traders office" Buck explains raising his voice for the last part
They hear Bobby laugh
"Okay so go home relax then we'll try this again" Eddie tells him
"I'm so sorry" Buck says
"Babe it's okay" Eddie says
Eddie kisses his check and Buck goes get his stuff to go home. He gets home and no one was home. He gets out of his car and runs inside. He takes a hot shower. He takes a 30 minute nap when he wakes up he was hungry so he goes in the kitchen and starts playing music. He decide to cook shrimp and grits which Eddie loves. He can't remember what time Eddie was coming home but he knows Christopher has a sleepover Eddie dropped him off earlier before his shift. He starts dancing around the kitchen and singing. He's a horrible singer but no ones home so he didn't care. He gets the cast iron skillets out and starts putting everything together. When everything was prefect he puts them in the oven and goes back to dancing. About 5 minutes later he feels two arms around him
"Do you know how sexy you are and how turned on I am" Eddie whispers in his ear
Buck leans into Eddie's touch
"What are you making" Eddie asked
"Shrimp and grits" Buck says
Eddie pulls his phone out of his pocket and calls someone
"Hey Eddie" a women answers
"Hey don't come over spread the word" Eddie says
"Okay is everything okay" the women asked
"Yeah just don't come over and if any of them show up I'm murdering them" Eddie says
"Okay mister enjoyed getting laid" the women jokes
"Oh I will" Eddie says
He hangs up
"I thought you wanted me to meet your family" Buck says
"They can wait" Eddie tells him
"What can't wait" Buck asked
"Those Shrimp and grits then I'm taking you into the bedroom and enjoying my night with you" Eddie explains
"Oh is that so" Buck teases him
"Yep" Eddie says
Buck giggles like actually giggles. He covers his mouth
"It's cute" Eddie says grabbing his hand
"Everything I do you find cute" Buck jokes
"Not everything" Eddie says
"Give me one thing" Buck says
"I don't find almost dying cute" Eddie explains
"No but I sure do look sexy in that gear I'm wear when I almost die" Buck jokes
"That's not a lie" Eddie says
Buck just shakes his head at Eddie
