Nobody's POV
Christopher asked Eddie for a birthday party. He wanted all his friends from school to come. He also wanted the 118 to be there and their families. Eddie agreed. Christopher also asked to have a friend stay the night and Eddie said okay because Bobby gave him that weekend off. His boyfriend on the other hand had to work on the day of the party. The party started at 12. He had games for everyone and activities. The kids were just starting to show up. Their parents were staying too thank god. Maddie help him set everything up. Eddie was hoping it ran long so Buck could at least see Christopher for his birthday. Eddie was standing outside letting people in. Henry, May, Athena and Bobby arrive
"Hey guys" Eddie greets them
"Hey I'm sorry I forgot completely. I just remembered that you need the weekend off" Bobby tells him
"It's okay. He tried to see if someone would take it outside of our group and they all came up with crappy reason" Eddie explains
"When does he get off" Athena asked
"2" Eddie tells her
"He still may make it" Athena says patting his arm
"I'm hoping" Eddie whispers
Everyone shows up and the kids were playing. Eddie was trying to draw it out. Maddie walks over to him
"Eddie I know you're trying to draw this out but it's been a hour you need to feed them" Maddie tells him and feels terrible when Eddie frowns
"Can I wait on cake or does that have to happen after they eat" Eddie asked
"I'm sure you can wait a few minutes" Maddie tells him
"Okay" Eddie says and goes calls everyone to get food. Once everyone is given food and sitting down. Eddie sighs, he was upset. Until he feels two arms wrap around him and someone kissing his neck
"How's it going" Buck asked
Buck sounded tired. Eddie turns and Buck was hurt
"What happened" Eddie asked grabbing Buck's face
"I'm fine just a broken arm, a few broken ribs and like 6 stitches" Buck explains
"You aren't fine" Eddie tells him
"I got into a fight with this dude because he wouldn't get out of the way" Buck explains
"Please tell me you didn't hit him" Eddie asked
"No he just hit me. I didn't want a lawsuit" Buck tells him
"What time is it" Eddie asked
"1ish" Buck tells him
Maddie walks over
"It's good to see you but are you okay" Maddie asked Buck
"I'm fine" Buck tells her
"Okay" Maddie says
"I'm gonna go say hey to Christopher" Buck tells them and walks over to Christopher
Buck gets over to Christopher and kisses his head. Christopher turns and looks at him
"Buck you made it" Christopher cheers
Buck gives Christopher a small hug
"Yeah sorry I'm a little hurt" Buck says
"I don't care. I'm just happy your here" Christopher tells him
Buck kisses his head again before walking over to Eddie. Athena, Bobby, Hen, Chimney, Maddie and Karen were over with him. Buck wraps his arms around Eddie and stands behind him
"What happen kid" Bobby asked
"I got into a fight kinda. I didn't actually fight him he just keep hitting me" Buck explains
Their was about 10 kids at the party and their parents were talking and keep looking over at them
"I really hope they aren't homophobia" Buck whispers to Eddie
"Oh yeah I noticed them staring too" Eddie whispers back
Maddie noticed too because everyone was following her
"Hello ladies how is everyone day going" Maddie asked
"Fine" one women says
"Why are you staring at us" Maddie asked
"Oh we aren't homophobia if that's what you are think. Actually I'm gay my wife couldn't make it today" a women says
"Oh I'm sorry it's just I get protective of them" Maddie explains
"That's how my brother is" the women tells her
"Maddie" Maddie greets her
"Kira" Kira says
"This is Eddie and Buck Christopher parents" Maddie says
"Nice to meet you" Kira says
"I'm not his dad Eddie and I have literally been together for a month Maddie" Buck tells her
"Oh come on you were best friends before" Maddie tells him
"I have a concussion and you are making my head hurt" Buck says and sticks his tongue out at her
Eddie shakes his head
"Is he okay" Kira asked
"I'm fine somewhat" Buck tells her
"Are you sure because Lexi is a doctor and she can make sure you are fine" Kira says
"No I went to the hospital" Buck says
"You did what and didn't call me" Eddie yells
"Shh concussion" Buck says putting his hand on Eddie mouth
"Okay let's go do cake" Maddie says
The rest of the party was amazing. Kira's son was actually the person that was staying the nice. Eddie may have had to sleep on the couch because Buck keep moving because his rips hurt him.
