Nobody's POV
Buck and Eddie have been dating for 6 months. A women Buck sleep with before they got together brought his son to the station one day claiming she couldn't be a mother anymore. His names Alexander he's 7 months. Eddie adores the kid. They've only had him for two months and Alexander has both their sleeping schedules missed up. Eddie and Buck just got done working a 48 hour shift. Christopher was with Shannon and Alexander was with Maddie while she's on maternity leave. Buck had to go see Bobby and talk to him about something so Eddie went and got Alexander. He knocks on the door and Maddie yells it's opens so he walks in. He walks to the living room. Maddie has her baby in her arms and Alexander was playing on the floor.
"Hey Eddie" Maddie says when she sees him
"Hey How was he" Eddie asked picking Alexander up
"He's teething and I couldn't find anything for him" Maddie tells him
Alexander was chewing on Eddie's finger
"Yeah we haven't bought any yet. He usually just chews on my finger anyways" Eddie tells her
"Does that not hurt" Maddie asked
"Yeah a little Buck can't stand it" Eddie says
"He's Buck's kid and likes you more" Maddie jokes
"My kid likes Buck more so it's a win win" Eddie says making Maddie laugh
Maddie yawns
"I'm gonna go you get some sleep" Eddie tells her
Chimney walks into the house
"Chimney make sure she sleeps she needs it" Eddie tells him walk out the door
Chimney laughs
"That man needs sleep" Chimney laughs
Eddie got home before Buck did. He goes inside and Alexander was getting tired so he laid on the couch. He didn't even realize he fell asleep too. Buck came home about an hour later. He walks into the house and it was quite. No baby crying or kid complaining about not wanting to do home. Then he remembered Christopher was at Shannon's. But where was Eddie and Alexander. Buck walks into the kitchen and grabs something to drink because he knew they were in the house. His first thought was Alexander's bedroom but Eddie hates just sitting in his room so that wasn't it. So he went to the living room. He finds Eddie asleep and Alexander chewing on his finger. Alexander must have just woke up too because he looked sleepy. Buck walks over and picks Alexander up
"Hey Alexander. Did you have fun with anut Maddie" Buck asked
Alexander giggled. Buck looked at Eddie who was now awake. Buck puts Alexander with his toys then turns back to Eddie. He runs his hand through Eddie's hair and Eddie leans into the touch
"Tired" Buck asked
Eddie shakes his head yes
"We can sleep all day tomorrow" Buck says kissing his head
"No we can't we have to go to Christopher's school" Eddie sighs
"Why can't Shannon do that" Buck asked
"Because I don't want her to I know that's wrong to be saying but I want to meet his teachers. He lives with me not her I want them to know that" Eddie says
"Okay I understand but you can sleep until then" Buck says
"You know I can't just lay in bed all day" Eddie says sitting up
"I know" Buck sighs
Eddie really does need sleep. He barely sleep on shift and before that he was up with Alexander
"What do you want for dinner" Buck asked
"Chinese" Eddie says
"Okay I'll go get it" Buck says getting up and grabbing his keys
"I'll be back" Buck yells before leaving
Eddie picks Alexander back up and lays back down. Alexander plays with Eddie's stubble and Eddie falls back asleep.
