Nobody's POV
Buck is gonna ask Eddie to marry him but first he wanted ask Christopher. So Eddie had to work which gave him the prefect time to ask Christopher. Eddie didn't have to know that Christopher didn't go to school. So Buck made it a lazy day. It was 10 and they were just laying around doing nothing. Christopher was playing video games
"Hey Chris" Buck says
"Yeah Buck" Christopher says and turns and looks at Buck
"So I need to ask you something" Buck says
"Okay" Christopher says
"I was wondering if it was okay if I asked your dad to marry me" Buck asked
"Yes" Christopher yelled
Buck hugs him
"So I was thinking" Buck says
"About" Christopher ask
"How do you feel about a trip to see your grandparents" Buck asked
"Then you ask him to marry you" Christopher says
"I can do it then but we are gonna have to ask Bobby for days off" Buck says
"Let's go" Christopher says
"Your dad's gonna be mad that you aren't in school" Buck says
"Whatever lets go" Christopher says
They both get dressed and go to Buck's Jeep. They get to the station around 12. They walk in
"Buck you are off today" Chimney says
"Yeah I know I need to talk to Bobby" Buck says
"He's cooking" Chimney says
"Thanks" Buck says
Buck and Christopher go upstairs. Eddie was sitting at the table. He looks up when they get to the top
"Hold up what are you doing here and why isn't he in school" Eddie ask
"We need to talk to Bobby" Buck says
"Okay but why isn't he in school" Eddie ask
"Didn't feel like taking him" Buck says
"Buck" Eddie yells
Buck just ignores him
"Bobby can we talk" Buck asked
"Yeah my office" Bobby says
They go to his office
"What's up" Bobby ask
"Both me and Eddie need next week off" Buck says
"Why" Bobby asked
"I'm taking him to Texas so I can propose to him in front of his parents" Buck says
"Yeah y'all have next week off which is tomorrow" Bobby says
Buck and Christopher go home and start packing. Buck had everything ready. He decided that they were gonna drive so they were leaving at midnight. Eddie got home at 5.
"Buck" Eddie yells
"In the kitchen" Buck yells back
Eddie walks in the kitchen
"Why is your car packed with stuff" Eddie asked
"We are going on a road trip" Buck says
"When" Eddie asked
"Midnight" Buck says
"No" Eddie says
"I took a nap earlier I'll be fine for the drive we have and I'll make you drive if I get sleepy" Buck says
"Fine" Eddie says
At 6 pm they arrive at Eddie's parents house. Eddie was asleep
"Eddie babe wake up we're here" Buck says softly
Eddie wakes up and looks at Buck then out the window
"Why are we at my parents house" Eddie asked
"Christopher said he wanted to see them" Buck lies looking at Christopher who giggles
"Okay you just lied to me but let's go" Eddie says
Everyone gets out. Eddie's family was inside but Eddie didn't know that. Just like he didn't know Buck and Christopher called his parents and told them they were coming or that Buck asked promise to marry him over the phone. Eddie knocks on the door. His mother opens the door
"Edmundo" Helena says cheerfully and hugs him
"Hello mom" Eddie says confused
"Christopher you are so big" Helena says and hugs him
Helena looks at Buck
"And you must be Buck" Helena says
"Yes ma'am" Buck says
"Come in" Helena says while ushering them in
They go inside and Buck starts to get nervous. Buck looks at Christopher who had the ring because Eddie is extremely touchy and he would have found it.
"Buck" Christopher says and slips the ring into his pocket
"Yeah buddy" Buck asked even though he knew what happened
Christopher hugs him. They both didn't plan this out well.
"Okay boys lets go in the back yard the family is waiting" Helena says
They walk to the backyard. Eddie walks around and says hey to his family. Helena and Ramon walks over to Buck
"You ready" Helena ask
"Yeah I think so" Buck says
"Nervous" Ramon asked
"Yeah" Buck says
"I just meet you and the way Eddie looks at you. Is like you are his world especially when you are playing with Christopher" Helena explains
Christopher comes over to Buck
"Come on Buck" Christopher says pulling Buck
They walk over to Eddie who was talking to his sister.
"Daddy turn around" Christopher yells which got everyone's attention
Eddie turns around and Buck was on one knee
"Okay so I know you know I lied about the reason we are here. But if I told you that this is what I was doing well I wouldn't be doing it now. Edmundo Diaz the second I saw you I knew I wanted you in my life for the rest of my life. I never actually believed in love at first sight but when I saw you I knew I would love you one day. I did start loving you a week into knowing you. I settled for best friends but what killed me most was when Shannon came back. The way you talked about her just made me want to rip my heart out and throw it. Then she left and you just needed someone and I was there the best I could be. Then the roles where reversed and instead of actually letting you in I pushed you away. So when I actually came back and you were lying to everyone else and was mad at me. I didn't want to call you out about lying so I didn't. Then something happened and everything changed. Then my life became make sure yours was still there when Christopher woke up in the morning. The night you were in the hole was the night I realized I couldn't keep my love from you anymore. When I told you and you didn't say anything I thought my heart stopped. Then you didn't talk to me for three days. When you finally kissed me I was so happy. We've been together for a year now. I moved in with you two three months ago but the longer I wait for the right time one of us is going to be dead in a hospital bed so I can wait anymore. Edmundo Diaz will you marry me?" Buck says out of breath now
Everyone was watching Eddie. He shakes his head and just kisses Buck
"Yes" Eddie says in the kiss
Buck pushes him away
"Sorry I'm already out of breath" Buck laughs out
Eddie hugs Buck
"You gonna put the ring on" Eddie asked
"Yeah sorry" Buck says and puts the ring on Eddie's finger
