Nobody's POV
Eddie was nervous. He knew that he wanted to marry Buck. Of course he was nervous about asking but he was more nervous to ask for Maddie's and Bobby's permission. He asked them to lunch. Bobby said he was bring Athena. Eddie was okay with it because Athena was like a mother to Buck. He scheduled the lunch for 1. But that morning both Buck and Christopher woke up sick. They both have stuffy noses, sound horrible, and Buck threw up once. He was so busy he didn't notice that it was 1 until Maddie calls him.
"Hello" Eddie answers
"It's 1 and you aren't here" Maddie says
"Crap" Eddie says and runs to his and Buck's bedroom
"Is everything okay" Maddie ask
"Yeah I'll be there soon" Eddie says
"Okay we are at a table" Maddie says
Buck and Christopher were in their bed. Eddie throws on a shirt and jeans
"Eddie" Buck says
"I have lunch with Bobby, Athena and Maddie and I can't miss it I promise I'll only be gone an hour" Eddie says
"We'll be right here" Buck says
"Bye I love both of you" Eddie says
"Bye dad" Christopher says
"Bye babe" Buck says
Eddie runs out of the house. He arrives at the restaurant at 1:15. Eddie goes inside and sees them. He walks over and sits down
"I'm so sorry" Eddie says
"It's okay" Bobby says
"So" Maddie says
"I'll get to the reason we are here in a minute I need a minute" Eddie says
"Okay so why were you late" Maddie ask
"Both Buck and Christopher woke up sick this morning" Eddie says
Athena rubs his arm and smiles at him. They order
"Okay" Eddie says
Eddie pulls the ring out of his jacket
"Oh my god" Maddie almost yells
Eddie smiles at her
"So I was wondering because Maddie your his brother and you two he looks at like parents. Can I marry Buck?" Eddie ask
"Yes" Maddie says
"Of course Eddie" Bobby says
"He's gonna be mad you asked" Athen says
"Yeah it just I know my parents aren't gonna be happy that I'm marrying a guy. I just want to do something that they would approve of" Eddie says
Maddie was crying
"You and Christopher are already apart of the Buckley family. Or the one me and Buck created. Who cares if they approve because I'll go down to Texas and force your whole family to come and watch." Maddie says
Eddie gets up and hugs her
"Thank you" Eddie says
"So when are you going to do it" Athena asked
"I don't know. I want it to be special but knowing us. It's gonna be when he's hanging off something every dangerous and I just ask afraid of losing him" Eddie says
Bobby laughs
"I'll try to make sure there isn't any extreme Buck until you do it" Bobby says
They eat and talk and like promised. Eddie was home an hour after he left.
