I woke up shivering, feeling very cold even though I had the quilt wrapped around me. It wasn't the eerie cold that I was suspecting to come any time, but it was something. I saw the air coming out of my mouth as I breathed out.

I went towards the window and saw nothing but clear sunshine. So, I got ready for breakfast. I left my chambers and walked through the corridor.

I looked over at the courtyard and became really excited as I realised what had happened the previous night. The cold started to make sense. I started jumping up and down as I made my way to the front courtyard.

I was really excited and tried not to trip over my gown. Thank goodness I didn't hit anyone on the way. I walked out of the already open front door. "Wow!" It took some time for me to realise that I wasn't really dreaming.

Snow was really all around me.

I walked slowly towards the snow-covered fountain. My feet sunk into the snow beneath me. I took it in my hand and I realized that I wasn't wearing gloves. But the cold that I felt was fantastic! It was the second time since I had come to Narnia that my wish was fulfilled.

And coincidentally, it was the same courtyard where the first one was fulfilled as well. I missed Caspian and only wanted him to come back soon. It was very upsetting that he had missed the first snowfall of the year.

Right as I was thinking that, I heard a small bark from nearby. I looked up from the snow and saw a dog came running towards me. I caught the Spaniel as she reached me.

"Hey, where did you come from?" I spoke out aloud. The dog snuggled against me and kept rubbing her head against my face.

"Sophie!" I heard a voice from the end of the courtyard - the only voice that I wanted to hear really.

I thought that my mind was playing tricks at me but when I looked up, I teared up. I placed the dog on the ground, away from the snow.

"Caspian!" I ran towards him, without worrying about the fact that he might have been tired from the long journey

"Caspian!" I ran towards him, without worrying about the fact that he might have been tired from the long journey.

"Oh!" He caught me and spun me around. He brushed his fingers through the back of my hair. "Goodness, I missed you!"

"It feels like months." I said as we broke the hug and held onto each other. It was more than two weeks, exactly like he had told me. "Did you bring her?" I pointed to the dog playing in the snow.

"She's ours." He revealed, putting a loose hair behind my hair.

"I love her." I wanted to tell Caspian that I loved him but I didn't know how he would take it. It wasn't the right time.

"I knew you would."

He knelt on the ground and opened the bag that he had brought with him. He started to rummage through it and I knew that it was the perfect time for revenge. I picked a handful of snow up and threw it on his back. I started laughing as I saw his reaction.

"That is for throwing water at me and for not telling me about you leaving."

He got up, picked some snow up and threw it at me. It was war then! We started throwing the snow at each other.

Surprisingly, it was exactly like how it had happened when we had danced in the rain

Surprisingly, it was exactly like how it had happened when we had danced in the rain. Once again, my wish got fulfilled.

Caspian and I threw snow and water at each other and both of us fell down. Déjà vu was happening a lot to me. We were laughing as we hit the snow.

We looked at each other. The moment was beautiful was and the silence was sweet.

The dog barked and broke the moment. She jumped on Caspian and snuggled with him. "Oh stop it, you." He said as he stood up. He gave me his hand and helped me get us as well.

"Let's go in before you catch a cold again."

"What do you want to name her?" He asked me as we made our way to his chambers inside.

"I don't know. What do you think?"

"I was thinking that we could maybe merge both our names together."

"That's a great idea!" I mentally made some names up. "Cassie?"

"Hmm. I love it!" I took the puppy from him. "It will be like your friend is here with us."

"That too." I felt a wave of guilt wash over me when Caspian mentioned Cassie. I missed her, and it was really nice that he remembered her.

He could see the sadness on my face because he took one of my hands in his and said, "What if I finish my part of the deal today?"

"Will you sing for me?" I knew he wanted to change my mood. And he did.

"It's about time that I did so."

Caspian went to change and I took the dog to the stables. I introduced her to Mr. Henry there and Thomas, of course. Cassie and Thomas – two of my greatest friends. They became great friends because Cassie never left the stables. We had to build her a kettle inside near Thomas' stall.

To keep his part of the deal, Caspian asked me to meet him in the Crafts room before lunch time. He was pacing the room when I entered.

"Nervous?" I asked him.

"Terrified."

I smiled. It was the same thing that I told him before the Council meeting. "I'm sure you have no reason to." I sat down on one of the seats and rested my face on my hands. I waited for him to start singing.

He looked at the piano and then back at me. "It's going to be hard with you staring at me like that."

I scowled at him. "What about all the times you've stared at me!"

"You know about that." He looked at the floor, embarrassed.

"Of course I knew." I laughed. "You're not the only one who stole secret glances." He seemed to blush at that. "Okay, I'll close my eyes now."

Once I did, he started to sing. I exclaimed mentally because Caspian's voice was one of the best that I had ever heard! The Professor had undermined it when he told me that Caspian was good at singing.

He sang one of the Narnian lullabies and I secretly opened my eyes to watch him. He was enjoying it because he had his eyes closed. He was playing the piano as he sang and I couldn't help but admire him.

From where I was sitting, I felt as though I was in an orchestra room or a music hall, filled with people who had assembled there just to hear one person sing and play.

After Caspian finished, I started clapping and I hugged him from the behind. "That.....was brilliant!" I placed my hands on his shoulders and kissed his cheek.

"You really think so?" He asked me as I let him go.

"Of course I do!"

"I've completed my end of the deal." He stood up and looked me directly in the eyes. He stroked my face with the tip of his fingers before he kissed me.

We were with each other after a really long time.

It was the perfect day.
