Nasa laboratory pa rin kami ng mansion at inaalam na ni Victoria ang mga kasagutan kung bakit matagal gumaling ang mga nagagawa kong sugat.

"Your blood is normal. It's still the same with humans." Tiningnan niya ang vial na pinaglalagyan ng aking dugo. Nilapag niya ito sa mesa nang matakpan niya ito. Kinuha niya naman 'yung vial ng dugo ni Vladimir. Tinaas niya ito at tiningnang mabuti. "This is vampire's blood, now I wonder what will happen if we fuse them together."

Nilagay niya ang vial sa mesa katabi 'nung sa akin at lumipat na naman siya sa microscope. Tinitingnan niya galing sa microscope ang mga dugo namin ni Vladimir na pinaghalo.

Habang nakatingin siya rito ay nag-eexplain rin siya sa amin.

"Strange." She commented, "It's a hybrid's blood." Lumayo siya sa microscope at tumingin sa amin.

"Well, I'm a hybrid and he's a vampire so I guess that's already given." Nagkibit ako ng balikat.

I just think that this is simple. Para sa akin, ang dugo ko ay normal dahil hindi pa naman ako hybrid. At sabi nila vampires are born vampires, hybrids are born hybrids when they turn 18. My blood is still the same with the humans and when mixed with vampire blood, natural lang siguro na hybrid ang kahihinatnan nito.

"It's dying." Victoria answered. Kumunot naman ang noo ko at naguluhan kaming lahat. "This hybrid blood," tinuro niya ang nasa petri dish, "It's slowly dying. I guess that explains why vampires and humans rarely produce an offspring."

Huh, so that explains it! Hindi nade-develop ang fetus dahil noong dugo pa lamang ito ay napapatay na ito. How come I survived?

"Sandro and Lauren are both hybrids. What difference does that make with the other offsprings of our fellow vampire comrades?" Vladimir asked while standing straight in front of his sister.

"Simple. They are from the strongest vampires. Their blood is strong enough and the fetus inside the womb gets to live for months." Manghang-manghang sabi ni Victoria.

Verona walked towards Victoria, "Bakit ang tagal gumaling ng mga sugat ni Vladimir?"

Iyon ang tanong na hinihintay naming lahat na masagot ni Victoria. Kaming lahat ay tutok na tutok sa kaniya at sa pagbigkas niya ng mga salita.
