Chapter Twenty Five - Safe Again

Chelsea POV

I'm sitting in my hospital bed with Mattia and Kairi by my side, Sevanah went home to get some sleep. We were sitting in silence nobody dared to bring up the situation that happened between Cleo and Alejandro or the Valentino situation. The news was in the background and I decided to post a draft for TikTok I have nearly hit 700K whereas Alejandro has now nearly hit 5M but I don't see this as a competition because I just do this for fun. 

I just want all this drama to stop. Everything seems to be my fault and the fans seem to be happy that Cleo and Alejandro are back together.  I just wished the internet knew that Cleo wasn't as nice as she pretends to be on social media, I mean she slapped me and she even cheated on Alejandro and now Alejandro has gone back to Cleo. All this drama is giving me clout and I am also losing some followers as well, I'm just known as the person who ruins peoples relationships. 

"I heard your mum came," Mattia said. "How did it go?" he continued. 

"She basically said that she spoke to Stephanie and I'm staying there. My mum is never there for me it just hurts that the fact I am hurt and she still isn't there for me." I paused. Tears are now streaming down my face. If she isn't here now, I just have a feeling she won't be at my wedding or at my graduations and basically miss out on the most important days of my life. 

"Chelsea look," Kairi said that snapped me out of my thoughts, his attention was directed to the television. 

"Valentino Bolton is arrested for attempted murder as he stabbed his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Davis in the leg several times she is in a stable condition in New Jersey Kindrid hospital, back to you in the studio." I can't believe he is arrested, when I leave this hospital I am free and I don't need to worry anymore. I finally feel safe again. 

My leg got a sharp pain and it felt like I was being stabbed again. I pressed the button to call for the nurse and I started biting my tongue so I wouldn't scream. I screwed my eyes back. "Chelsea are you okay?" Mattia asked while getting off of his chair to come to stand next to the bed. 

The nurses came into the hospital room and Mattia moved and lent on the side of the wall so the nurses have room. They took the covers off of her and saw blood from her stitches oozing out. Chelsea was in a lot of pain at this point. "The stitches has given her an infection, we need to clean the wound and restitch her." The nurses said to her friends while wheeling out her bedroom. 

As the nurses were wheeling me out of the room, I was shocked to see Alejandro standing outside of my hospital room he didn't say anything he just seemed shocked. I couldn't look at him not after what he did to me. The nurses put anesthetic on my leg so I couldn't feel them stitching up but the procedure only took ten minutes which I was grateful for. "You're doing well Chelsea tomorrow morning if everything goes well, I think you can go home." She said which I was so relieved to hear. I couldn't wait to eat Stephanies homemade meals as the hospital foods are disgusting. 

As I went back into the room Alejandro has decided to wait back and the rest of the boys left. The nurses wheeled me back into my room and once the nurses gave me instructions Alejandro decided to open his mouth. 

"How are you?" He said. 

"Good," I said coldly. I just can't look at him. He didn't say anything. 

"Can you go I'm tired." I looked at him and I wish I didn't because I can see the hurt in his eyes. "Tell Sevanah I'm getting discharged tomorrow." He nodded and didn't say anything. 

I shut my eyes hoping sleep could take over but I couldn't because of the noise outside the hospital room. All I can hear are nurses talking, beeping from monitors so I decided to watch a movie to keep my mind off of Alejandro.
