Chapter Fifteen - Ragers VS Passaic Valley

Alejandro POV
Today is the big day, the day myself and the team have been training for months. I couldn't wait to get on the field. I can hear the crowd already cheering in the locker room, kick-off is starting in about ten minutes. I put on my soccer gear white soccer top that has number 11 written in black and white shorts. I turned to Mattia number 22 and Kairi number 3 and simply said: "Are you ready?" They all nodded. 

Alex the team captain called a team minute which was him telling us to give it our best shot. 

Chelsea POV 

I got changed and rocked up to Sevanah's house with my overnight back, well over week bag. That's what Sevanah calls it.  I messaged my mum letting her know I was staying over for a week but I didn't even get a message back. 

"Are you ready?" Sevanah called out coming out of her room. 

"Yes, I am so ready," I said looking at Sevanah's outfit. She is wearing a white Passaic Valley jumper and jeans. It looks so simple but so good. I looked so trashed compared to her, I came in trackies and a plain white t-shirt. At least I am wearing the school colours. 

Stephanie came out wearing something simple. I thought she would go all out to support her son's soccer team. "I would go all out but I have a flight right after the game." She said. 

"Where are you even going?" I asked 

"New York." She claimed. 

"I liked New York, it is just really busy and crowded," I said while smiling. 

"Yeah, why did you move back?" Stephanie asked. I feel like all the air from the room got sucked up. My chest felt tight. No matter how much I love Stephanie and how much she has been there for me. I don't know if I am ready to tell her what happened between Valentino and I. I think she knows that something has happened between us and I assume she knows we are no longer together. Luckily Sevanah changed the subject completely. 

"Are we going to get food before the game?" Sevanah asked. She's always eating but she never gains weight. 

"Yeah that's a good idea, want to go to Chick-fill-a?" Stephanie asked. 

"Yes," I said while Sevanah just cheered. 

We all got in the car after putting her suitcase in the car. At the end of the game, Sevanah and I will drop her to the airport. 

Alejandro POV

Running on the field hearing the school cheer, I glanced at the crowd immediately looking at Chelsea, wow. I shook my head and gave Cleo a kiss. It was a ritual and she always seemed to give me good luck but this kiss felt different. There was no spark. I immediately started focusing on the game. I wanted to win this thing. Ragers we're wearing a red soccer top with blue shorts. The first whistle blew and we managed to get the ball off of Ragers and I passed the ball to Mattia who took a shot but unfortunately their goalkeeper saved it. This is going to be a challenging game. 

Chelsea POV

As I was finding my seats everyone was screaming queen bitch at me. Stephanie was very confused. "What's that about?" Stephanie asked. 

"Long story, its nothing bad though," I said and Sevanah just laughed.

When the boys came out onto the field, the school cheered really loud. My eyes immediately landed on Alejandro. I found throughout the game I was staring at him. I couldn't help it. I watched the cheerleaders do there routine but I can't help but glare at Cleo, I just can't wait to tell Alejandro what happened. 

The crowd went wild with boo's when I saw the Ragers fans and team cheering. The ball went past our goalie making the score 1-0. Alex looked pissed. Alejandro looked disappointed, Mattia and Kairi looked more focused. 

I focused on Alejandro he got the ball and passed it to Kairi and he scored. I couldn't believe it we could actually win this. It was now half time and I went to the kiosk to buy a bottle of water for myself. The other half the ball was mostly in the centre of the field, not many shots were made but Alejandro managed to get the ball and he shot but missed. 

"I need them to win or I won't hear the end of it," Sevanah said. I just laughed. 

Alejandro POV 

I'm getting frustrated, Alex is not playing well and he's the captain, he seems to be distracted by the cheerleaders. It's pissing me off. I felt like screaming at him to get his head back into the game. I found my feet walking towards him until I saw Chelsea's eyes on me. It immediately calmed me down. I looked at the time on the scoreboard and the referee has put extra time as its a draw. I got the ball and took a shot outside the square and...
